It was another rainy day so we played inside instead of going for our walk. We had fun walking on the balance beam, hopping into hoops, and climbing over the mats. We got a lot of exercise even though we couldn’t go for a walk.

Mommy made me a very healthy Japanese dinner tonight. The main course was fish, saba to be exact. I also had tofu and miso soup on the side. And of course my vegetable of choice was tomatoes. Tasty and healthy!

I was playing with Daddy in the living room this morning when I decided to change the venue. I led him to the bedroom where we started chatting and playing. We talked about various things, pretended to sleep and dream, and even sang a bit.

We went out to a shabu-shabu restaurant for Mommy and Daddy’s belated anniversary dinner. It was all-you-can-eat and boy did I eat all that I could. I enjoyed everything! I can’t explain the details about how I ended up shirtless, but I’m pretty sure it had to do with me being sweaty. So even though she is smiling, Mommy was not happy to have a sweaty little boy lean and rub up against her.

I really enjoyed the fruit jelly that Daddy brought home the other day so Daddy suggested that we make our own. We had some grapes and oranges that were about go bad so we made some jelly and sorbet. Saturday mornings are the best! After a long week of work and school we kind finally take it easy in the morning and enjoy all the little moments. Bedtime books are a part of my routine and I love that we always have a sweet calm moment every day. I usually sit on Mommy and Daddy’s lap for my book but sometimes I feel like cuddling up to them and lying down while reading my book.

Mommy’s anniversary gift to Daddy arrived and I helped open it. The theme was fruits/flowers so she got him a fruity sparkling wine with flower decorations on it. I’m sure they’ll enjoy drinking it together!

Today on our walk to the park my classmates and I ran around the park and played with balls. We weren’t playing any particular game. We were just having fun running around in the wide open space.
