Being a baby

I’m not a baby any longer. I’m two and I consider myself a toddler. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to be a baby from time to time. It feels nice to be a baby sometimes, especially when I’m feeling a bit under the weather.

Spending the day with Mommy

I had to stay home from school today because I’ve had a pretty bad cough for a while. I had to go to the doctor’s to get it check out. It was just a bit of a bug and nothing to worry about. But since I had the day off and Mommy took off from

Bugs and fish

My classmates and I all love checking out the bugs at the park on our walks. We all gather around when we find some beetles or ants. Today we didn’t see any ants, just the anthole. We waited patient for the ants to show up but I guess they knew about our presence and were

Meeting Daddy at the door after work

Some days when Daddy comes home from work he finds Mommy and me playing in the living room. But sometimes I hear him come home and rush to the front door to meet him. I sometimes have a toy or book that I want to show him, but I usually just want him to pick

Possessive at nursery school

Some days at school I get really attached to a book and end up carrying it around all day. I’ll have my teachers read it to me from time to time but overall just like having it with me. I have a bit of a possessive side. When we go to the park I sometimes

Block toppling, Mason toppling

Daddy and I were playing with building blocks and I was having a lot of fun toppling them over after Daddy stacked them. I was having so much fun that I ended up toppling over myself.

Preparing potatoes

I helped Daddy prepare dinner tonight. He was making beef stew so I helped with prepping the veggies. I did a very good job of washing them before Daddy cut them.

Park

I love the fast stone slide that they have at the park. I made Daddy take me up and slide down with me again and again! Too bad I can’t slide by myself. It is really fast and stone so it is still a bit too dangerous for me to go solo. While playing with

Food and drink

Wiping Daddy’s mouth for him. Kanpai with Nana and Papa. Snack time that makes my legs look really long.

Daddy horsey

Good days start off with a Daddy horsey-back ride. Today is going to be a good day!

Father and son faceoff

Daddy and I aren’t fighting or anything. It is just a father and son messing around during dinner.

Helping Daddy cook

I helped Daddy cook again today. We made soup! I couldn’t cut anything, but Daddy let me mix and season everything. I was a very good helper again today! Once all the prep was done I left all the cooking and stuff to Daddy. I was told that the range was dangerous, so I took

Field trip to the zoo

We got to the zoo for our school field trip and I instantly clung to Mommy. I was told that we were going to the zoo and I knew my teachers and classmates would be there, but I didn’t know that there would be so many other people. It was quite crowded. It seemed like

Playing on mats

It was another rainy day so we couldn’t go for our walk again today. It was okay because our teachers grabbed some mats and we had fun jumping and tumbling around.

Heading on a field trip

Today my nursery school has a field trip to the zoo. I couldn’t go on the trip last year because I had a fever. But this year I definitely didn’t want to miss out. The zoo was a bit far so we had to take a couple of subway trains to get there. I did

Daddy’s home

I rushed to the entrance to greet Daddy when he came home from work today. He’s been working late a lot lately with his new position at work. But he always dedicates all his time to me once he gets home. He’s my buddy! Hold hands, high five, chest bump, alright!

Heading home in the rain

I am not a fan of rainy days. We don’t get to go to the park and going to school and heading home is a bit of a chore. Mommy or Daddy have to carry me while holding an umbrella, which is not easy. Luckily it wasn’t raining to hard today so Mommy and I

English lesson and stickers

We had our English lesson today and as usual I was a very good and attentive student. I like listening, learning, and singing. Today we learned about family and body parts in English. Naturally, I understood almost everything. I was easily able to answer questions when called to the front of the class. We also

Morning breather

Just taking a morning breather before I face the day.
