There is progress being made with potty training, but not by me.

Cheerios
Sometimes my normal breakfast is not enough for me so I am still hungry. I usually get soup, cheese, or cheerios. Today I got Cheerios and ate them while watching TV. But those little O’s were cheerier than I expected and a few got away from me. Sometimes I’m still hungry and have to supplementContinue reading “Cheerios”
Cars and books with Daddy
Two spoons
Two spoons, more food, double the joy!
Happy walk
The weather was so nice today that we all enjoyed a lovely walk! We were so happy since we didn’t have many walks last week because of a the rain. Even though I like playing at school, I must say that I prefer sunny day walks to rainy day indoor play!
The Outlets Kitakyushu
Today we went to visit a new outlet mall! It was complete last year and Mommy and Daddy hadn’t been there yet. It was an exciting trip because I haven’t left the city except to visit Baaba and Jiiji and to visit Grandma and Grandpa. This is my first trip to Kitakyushu! And Daddy hasn’tContinue reading “The Outlets Kitakyushu”
Still obsessed with my eyelashes
I caught Mommy taking pictures of my eyelashes again. She is obsessed with them. I think she is a bit jealous. My lashes are full and long, which seems to be a sought after feature. I wouldn’t know about that, but they do keep sweat and dust out of my eyes, so that’s a plus.
Royal Host
We went to Royal Host, a family restaurant, for dinner. I’ve been here before and this is where I learned to like french fries and other fried foods. I was so hungry that I had to make do with water until my food came. While waiting I also did the search-and-find on the menu andContinue reading “Royal Host”
Personal shopper
On our way back from the park we stopped to get some groceries. I was very helpful and helped Mommy and Daddy look for things and helped carry them to the cart. Sometimes I needed convincing that we didn’t need to buy certain snacks or Anpanman products, but I was a good boy and listenedContinue reading “Personal shopper”
Choo-choo train in the park
There is a park in town that has an old choo-choo train on display, so we went to check it out. It was really cool and a lot bigger than I thought! I hadn’t realized. We couldn’t go in and walk around but we took a good look at it form the outside. I wasContinue reading “Choo-choo train in the park”
Snack time
I had my snack of apples and pancakes, but I was still hungry after I ate everything. I wanted more pancakes, but we didn’t have any. Instead I got crackers. They were so yummy!
Busy morning
I had a busy morning of checking on drawers, practicing using chopsticks, dancing at breakfast, cleaning up my dishes, getting fist bumps, chatting with Grandma and Grandpa, playing with my toys, and practicing my vocabulary.
Looking through MagnaTiles
While playing with MagnaTiles tonight, Daddy and I discovered that they are kind of translucent and if we put them right up against our faces we can kind of see through them. Cool!
Food improves my mood
Oh boy do I get hangry! But once I get some food in my belly, I’m a very different person!
Upset about socks
Oh dear. I got very upset about my socks today. I wanted to take them off but I wanted Mommy to take them off as well. I want to do it myself but I wasn’t in a mood to do it myself and was upset that Mommy wasn’t helping and I was upset that sheContinue reading “Upset about socks”
Flowers and finding
We had a nice walk to the park today and saw some pretty flowers. We even found some cool things in the grass. Now that it is almost spring, there are a lot more plants for us to discover. I’m getting excited about the upcoming cherry blossom season. I can’t wait to se sakura again!
Last to wake
Mommy and Daddy suspect that I might be growing again. I’ve been eating and sleeping a lot more than usual as of late. I wonder how much bigger I can get. I’m already pretty big for my age. I’m not even two yet, but I look as big as some 3-year-olds.
Tickling from afar
Fast eater
Often I eat very quickly, almost to a point where it is no longer safe. Mommy and Daddy don’t want me to choke so they tell me to slow down or take smaller bites, but I can’t hold back. I’m hungry and everything tastes so good! Mommy, if you want me to slow down, thenContinue reading “Fast eater”
Joining English lesson
Today my class joined the older kids’ class for their English lesson. They have an English lesson every week and we had joined in for parts of the lesson here and there. But since we will be moving up to the big kids’ class in April, we stayed for the whole lesson to get usedContinue reading “Joining English lesson”
