No fever today. Feeling better and my nose is not running as much. I still have a cough sometimes but not too bad. Maybe I’ll be able to go to school today. I’m not quite my old jolly self, but possible good enough. At least I’m not in a bad mood and throwing tantrums.

We had a bit of a hand off today. Since I was unexpectedly sent home from school, Daddy had to take the morning off from work. When you are sick you need a lot of fluids. So I’ve been getting a lot more than my usual barley tea and milk. I’ve been getting some apple juice and electrolyte drinks to keep me hydrated. Being sick is not so bad when you get tasty drinks like this. Yum!

We check my temperature every day so that I can be cleared to go to nursery school. But on days when I’m home sick, we check my temperature a lot more than usual. I try to help out and check my own temperature. Hmmm, still a bit high.

Even though I’m sick, I’m getting tired of staying indoors. I need to get away! So Daddy and I went for a pretend drive.

I don’t know if it is the fresh air or just the space, but I really enjoy being outside when I’m sick. I’ve been very fussy and throwing some tantrums indoors. But I’m in a very agreeable mood outside, and very busy!

When I draw with crayons I have very detailed ambitions which sometimes requires be to get a closeup view of my work.

I went to nursery school today and couldn’t get pass the entrance. I had a fever so I got sent home. Looking at my face when we got back home Daddy started to wonder if I just made myself get a fever so that I could stay home. Apparently it is called playing hooky.

I was getting a bit cabin fever and being really fussy at home. So Daddy thought that I needed some fresh air so we went to the park.
