I like discovering new things. Like the sound my plastic fork and spoon make when they hit the floor. Really interesting sound! I just had to test it out again and again.

I think it is funny when my bobble-head doggy’s head comes off. It is even more hilarious when he gets an over-sized alternative head and that comes off.

I love playing peekaboo! I do it with whatever is available to me: blankets, cushions, furniture, and even Daddy’s shirts.

This is what I look like when waiting for our FaceTime call to Grandma and Grandpa to connect. When Daddy tells me we are going to chat with Grandma and Grandpa and sets up the iPad, I plop myself down in front of it and can’t wait to see them.

I tested out some earphones today. These were the free ones we got on the airplane. I was curious about them so Daddy showed me how to use them. I didn’t really understand the point. I was not happy at dinner tonight. I don’t really know why. It was confusing, frustrating, and unfortunate. I had a really tasty snack today! First I had some Japanese pear, which was crunchy and sweet. Then I had some annin tofu with fruit in it, which was very sweet and refreshing. Yum yum!

I went for a walk with Daddy today. I had fun spotting all the buses on the road. I also surprised Daddy by spotting several airplanes flying overhead. Daddy was reading my book to me and started saying “elephant” in such a way that I though it was so funny and exciting. Daddy always manages to find a way to tickle my funny bone. “Elephant!”

I’ve been able to open doors for a while now. I think this is the first time we got it on video. If I stretch as far as I can, I can just grab the door handle. The rest is easy!

Here I am trying to help out around the house and empty the laundry basket only to find out that the clothes I took out were all folded. Oh well. It was the thought that counts.

After coming back to Japan from Hawaii we realized we need to resupply so we made a quick trip to Costco after school/work.

I’ve been impressing my teachers at school with all the walking I’ve been doing. They were really surprised to see the progress I made while in Hawaii! I’m been taking 8-9 steps at a time and showing off to everyone!

I like my kids’ shows! There is great music, interesting characters and a lot of funny scenes! Oh so funny!
