We went shopping today…at least that’s what I heard. I fell asleep during the short drive to the grocery store. Daddy stayed in the car with me while I slept while Mommy went shopping by herself. This always happens. I don’t like to take naps, but once I’m in the car I get very sleepy.

We went to the park to play and we also brought along the cookies that Mommy and I made for snack. They were delicious! I brought house along with us too, but he didn’t get to eat any cookies because these were people cookies not doggy cookies. I wandered over to the door near the kitchen and sat down. Daddy came to join me. Then we just hung out. Wassup!

Saturday mornings are awesome. After a long week of school it is nice not to have to be anywhere or have any plans and just relax and have fun.

Had a little bit of diaper leakage so I had to change pants early in the morning. But I was very particular about which pants I wanted to wear. Even though it is still pretty cold I chose short pants. I didn’t complain though.

I got a treat on the way home from school today. Mommy let me choose a drink from the vending machine. I was so excited and happy! I chose apple juice Qoo. I can’t wait to drink it at dinner.

Today at school we learned about Hinamatsuri (Girls’ Day). Our teachers used a picture book to explain about the day and celebration. It is still early since Hinamatsuri is on March 3 (a Sunday), but it is good to be prepared. I listened quite intently to all the details. We also went for a walkContinue reading “Hinamatsuri”

We had our rhythmic movement class today. We worked up quite a sweat moving to the music. We also played with clay today. We made cookies with cookie cutters. I made a bunch and offered them to my teacher. “Here you go. Please eat it.”

It looks like my hair is getting a bit long. I may need a haircut soon. I’m not looking forward to that.

Today at the park we asked to play with bubbles and our request was answered. We had a lot of fun running around chasing the bubbles. We also played Red light, green light. I used to eat breakfast in my high chair, but during these winter months it has been too cold to sit there. So I started bundling myself under a blanket on the couch while sitting on Daddy’s lap. There is a Japanese professional baseball player who plays for the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks who has a celebratory pose when he hits a homerun. He does a “V” gesture and says “Viva!” Obachan is a big Hawks fan and follows the games a lot. She showed me the pose and it kind of stuck. “Viva!”
