After a full course dinner and went straight to playing with my cars. I made them line up nicely from the garage. I like to play, but it is often very organized.

I had a great time seeing Ojisan again! I didn’t cry or anything when I saw him, but it did take a little time to warm up to him again. Of course, I was in a much better mood after eating my snack!

Ojisan is coming into town today so we went to the airport to meet him.

Well, part of the reason was to meet him. The other part was so that I could see some airplanes!

Today is a holiday so I took it easy this morning. I did a little reading and played with my cars. Easy morning.

I wanted to make sure that Daddy was taking care of his teeth and properly brushed his teeth this morning. Everything looks okay. Good job, Daddy!

Enjoying some storybook time at school.

And hanging at the park.

We’re still borrowing books from school everyday so that means I get to read a new book every day!

We had fun at the park today and we collected some flowers for our teachers.

I spent some time looking for bugs. I didn’t find much today.

Then I hung out with the boys.
When our teachers said it was about time to leave I helped get our walking rope ready.

Just a little bit of piano practice before dinner.

We went out to a festival in the city today and we had a great time! First we ate lunch and I enjoyed the food that Mommy and Daddy got for me, but I also enjoyed the food they got for themselves as well! I’m so happy that I get to eat more and more grownup food.
After lunch we headed to the park and I got to try out my new bubble gun. It worked really well and it was easy to use. I was able to make tons of bubbles!

Before we knew it we were surrounded by kids who loved all the bubbles that I was making! It was so much fun!

After that I decided to stretch my legs a bit.

Look at the card that I made at school! It is for Boy’s Day. It is still a few days off, but it is good to be prepared.

I decided to help Daddy make breakfast this morning. Recently I’ve been interested in what goes on in the kitchen a lot and like to watch. I know where the step stool is and often ask Mommy and Daddy to set it up for me. But instead of just watching, I got to help today. I was a very good mixer! I was not the best pourer. I kind of missed the bowl because I poured to quickly. Still, I think I did very good. I was quite careful and followed Daddy’s instructions. He was impressed that I understood those instructions.

I am happy to report that the pancakes turned out great! They were so good that we forgot to take a picture of us enjoying the fruits of our labor. I look forward to the next time I can help out in the kitchen!
Recently Mommy has been borrowing books from school whenever she picks me up at the end of the day. I love them! When it is time for my bedtime books I always go over to the bag Mommy puts my school stuff in and ask to read the new book that she borrowed. They have so many great books at school that I have yet to be disappointed.

We went to the shopping mall today to do some toy (window) shopping. My birthday is coming up and Mommy and Daddy want to see what kind of toys I’m interested in. I did some browsing (after lingering a long time near a rescue car set at the entrance of the store) and tried out a bunch of different toys. But it was no surprise that I spent the most time around car related toys. The toy car section was huge and I was so excited about every single car I saw. Big cars, small cars; construction cars, rescue cars; fun cars, realistic cars…they all appealed to me. Unfortunately this did not give Mommy and Daddy that much new information. They already knew that I was into cars and now I just gave them more choices to choose from. I’m sure they’ll pick out something I like…as long as it’s related to cars.
