When Daddy comes home from work, he always peeks in the window to see me. Most of the time I’m in my high chair and when I see him I point and say “Dada!” to let Mommy know he is home. If I’m not in my chair, I come right up to the window to say “Hi!”.

We saw a lot of colorful pretty flowers on our walk today! I wanted to touch all of them, but settled for touching only the ones I could reach. But then I got distracted by some bugs. Flowers are pretty, but bugs are so much more interesting.

Mommy and Daddy are so nice to be my horsies when I want a ride. It must not be easy for parents in their forties, but they manage.

I got this soft JAL airplane when I rode on a similar plane last year. It was a very cool freebie toy that the gave to babies. I don’t play with it that often, but it has a cool function where it buzzes and shuffles forward when you pull on its string and let it go. For some reason I thought the approaching airplane was the funnies thing today.

I’m such a big boy that I walk home every day now. There are no more baby carriers for me. When Mommy picks me up I open the door, put on my shoes, press the elevator button, and then we walk home. It is our routine, but the walk home can vary a lot depending on my mood and what I see. Today I felt like teetering and tottering and twisting while spotting all kinds of vehicles.

I had fun running around at the park with my friends again! We don’t really have a plan when we get there. Pretty much someone starts running around and then we all do the same.

I also played with the sand today. I put the sand into a paper cup and dumped it out and then repeated the process. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but it is actually a lot more fun when you’re not yet two-years old.

Later on in the day our teacher asked us if anyone wanted to go for a walk again. I was pretty tired from the morning so I shook my head and let her know that I didn’t want to go for another walk. I enjoyed playing indoors this afternoon.

Car maintenance is very important to car safety, so sometimes when we get home from school I conduct a car safety inspection to make sure it is safe to drive. It is a car, check. It is blue, check. I like it, check. Okay! It passed!

I interact with my classmates a lot more at nursery school. When we go to the park we often play with each other instead of just near each other. Today, I was interested in their shoes because they also have Anpanman shoes like I do. Then they started to run away so I chased them to try and look at their shoes, and then it became a game of chase. Whenever we stopped I would just stare at their shoes. I like look for and looking at things that I like. That’s why when we weren’t playing chase, I led the gang to looking at cars and buses.

Just me messing around with glasses and cushions. Just for a bit. Don’t worry, I didn’t wear the glasses for long. Before I knew it I was playing with my cars again.

We went to the park for an Easter egg hunt, but before we started I had a snack (while the Easter bunny hid the eggs).

It was hard to get started because I was distracted by airplanes flying in the sky! It was hard to focus with so many other things to look at. Also the instructions weren’t that clear.

After all that work, I was happy to find some snacks and toys in the eggs. Actually, to be honest, I would have fun even if there was nothing in the eggs. It was just fun to hunt for them!

That was a fun Easter egg hunt! I definitely want to do that again. And it doesn’t even have to be Easer. I just like spending time at the park with Mommy and Daddy!

I also was happily surprised to see that Grandma and Grandpa had sent me an easter card. It was a really cool 3D pop up! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!

These past few months I have been falling sleep in the car a lot. I love riding in the car and usually get really excited, but depending on the time of day and length of ride, I take short naps while riding around. It is just so comfortable for me. I just sit in my car seat and look around at all the vehicles I see, and it is like counting sheep. Then I drift off to sleep. This is the easiest and most peaceful way for me to fall asleep.

Today was no exception as we head back home after shopping at Costco and visiting the petting zoo.

Or maybe I should call it “Ketchup and omurice” because I finished all my ketchup before I finished my omurice. In the end I cleared my plate so I guess the order shouldn’t matter.

Yeah, so this is just what the title says. After I finished my breakfast I was still hungry so I asked for a bread roll. While eating said bread roll I took a stroll around the house while listening to some music. To the rhythm I did a little dance, shake, and shimmy here and there.

Any time I find to play, I try to do as much as I can. In the short time that I had after finishing dinner until I had to take a bath, I did a lot of fun things.

Flying around the room.

I rode my horsey.

I jumped high in the air.

I made my dog jump high in the air.

I took a short break.

I did acrobatic balancing.

And I played with my tractor & wagon.
