Keeping Daddy in the bath

It was my bath time and Daddy went in first to get everything ready and then I locked him in there. He kept trying to get out, so I had to keep going back to make sure he stayed there. After all, he’s supposed to give me a bath and can’t do that if he leaves the bath. Wait a minute, I guess he can’t do that if I leave the bath. Oh, I’d better get in there.

“Renga”, but no videos

I was walking home with Mommy and we were singing our own original “renga” song. Renga means brick and we were singing about it because we were on a brick sidewalk. Naturally, Mommy thought my singing was cute and wanted to take a video, but I didn’t want her to take a video. I often have to stop Mommy and Daddy from whipping out their phones to take pictures and videos and I have them live in the moment instead. But if they did that then this blog would have a lot less content, so I’m glad they still sneak pic or video here and there.

Breakfast in a big chair

Once again I refused to sit in my chair and wanted to sit in a big chair. I’m still a bit short for it, but I managed to eat all my breakfast nicely and without spilling. Why would I spill? I’m not going to waste any food. I actually wanted to sit on Mommy or Daddy’s lap, but they were busy getting ready for the day so I told them I was fine sitting on my own.

Name stamps

I love playing with my name stamps. Mommy and Daddy use them to label my clothes, but I always liked playing with them as toys. They hid it from me for a while but I found them and wanted to play with them. I am able to open the container and then I dump all the stamps out and then put them back in the container. Then I repeat the process. Today I played with my stamps for a good 20 minutes. It’s more fun than it looks, trust me.

Mommy’s lap

Recently there are days when I don’t want to sit in my high chair and demand that I sit on Mommy or Daddy’s lap to eat. Most of the time I’m fine in my chair and direct Mommy and Daddy where to sit, but sometimes I just want to be as close to them as possible.

Walking to and from school

Recently I walk to and from school more and more. I don’t want to be carried any more and barely can fit in my carrier anymore. Well, let me rephrase that. I’m getting too big for Mommy to carry me in my carrier. I usually will walk all the way home on my own, with several detours and delays of course. In the morning on my way to school I sometimes get too distracted and Mommy just has to pick me up and carry me the rest of the way to school. But for the most part I want to walk, like to walk, and am very good at walking to and from nursery school.
