I got to see a huge choo-choo train today.
I was taking a nap and Mommy and Daddy took the opportunity to go out for a bit. Grandma and Grandpa were babysitting and took care of me when I woke up. I was in a pretty good mood and well behaved. As a treat they took me to Mommy and Daddy. They were surprised and happy to see me. I was happy to see them too, but a little bit more excited to see this huge choo-choo train. I hope I get to ride it some day.
We went for a short walk to the store and I got so excited when we entered the parking lot because there were so many cars. I still got excited when leaving the store and seeing the parking lot of cars for the second time. What can I say? I just really like cars.
I’m very good at climbing up on things so I tried to show off to everybody by climbing up onto one of the dining room chairs. Instead of impressing them I just made everyone nervous.
I’m constantly checking in on my cousins. I’ll be having a lot of fun playing or exploring and then all of a sudden I’ll go and check in on them and see what they are doing. Usually I barge into their room and interrupt whatever they were up to. They are so sweet and pretty much stop what they were doing to play or interact with me. When they are not in their room I’ll just take a peek at what they are doing and then move on.
Everyone is so nice and accommodating. They let me take over the TV to watch my favorite videos of trains on YouTube. Yes, everyone literally watch trains zooming by one after another, just for me. I love you guys!
There is so much to do in the house even early in the morning. I have my new toys that were Christmas presents and I also have Daddy’s old collection of cars. Let’s not forget all the books there are to read!
One of my stocking stuffer gifts from Grandma and Grandpa was this set of bathtime cars. They are so cool! They just stick to the wall without any glue or tape. And there are so many of them. I have a feeling that bath time is going to be a lot longer from now on.
I was supposed to be taking a bath but I escaped and had Grandma and Grandpa read me some books. Grandpa read me one of Daddy’s old books. It was a book about cars and airplanes. I guess he had similar tastes to me when he was my age.
It’s a good thing I’m about to take a bath because I’m so sweaty from all the active fun we are having!
I’m copying everyone copying me being an airplane. Zooooooooom!!!!!
We found one of my half-sister’s old bags and I thought it was cute and snazzy. I liked it a lot but it didn’t really match what I was wearing, which was nothing. Maybe it will look better when I have some clothes on.
With such a busy day of going here and there, it is nice to just sit down and relax in front of the TV.
I really like going for rides in Grandpa’s truck! It is the only truck I’ve ever got to ride in. One of the reasons we went to the heliport this morning was that I wanted to go out for a drive. I don’t if it is the comfy child seat, the high viewpoint from the truck, or just the new scenery, but I love going for rides in his truck!
Part of growing up is mimicking and copying. So one of the things I like to do is steal Daddy’s glasses from him and pretend to be a grownup. I feel older already!
Grandpa has been so nice to me and especially after he took me to see the helicopter I thought he deserved some of my snack. After all, it was his Cheerios that I was eating.
I woke up from my nap and found myself in Mommy and Daddy’s bed. I don’t really know how that happened since I remember Daddy rocking me to sleep for my nap. I guess he found a way to put me down after I fell asleep. I have to admit, it was very comfortable sleeping on the bed. I think I can get used to it.
Santa may be a person who immediately strikes fear directly into my core, but he sure does give good presents. I guess since it is what his career is based on, he must be pretty good at it by now. Nice job, Santa! Thank you very much!
One of the best things about visiting Grandma and Grandpa’s house is just being in Grandma and Grandpa’s house with everyone there! I love just wandering around, exploring, creating my own fun, and interacting with everyone. It was such a treat to be able to just pick up a book and hand it to Grandma to read to me. I wouldn’t be able to do this normally since we usually have to communicate through FaceTime. It is so nice to be at Grandma and Grandpa’s house!
