When I go to the park I have my usual favorites. I love going down the slide and I love rocking on the bugs there.
I also really enjoy stretching my legs and exploring the park.
But today I found something else fun to do. I got dirty!

I had such a fun time with Daddy after being sent home from nursery school because of a fever. As you can see I’m feeling fine. I might have an even higher temperature because of how active I’ve been. I was having a ball hiding from Daddy, but hiding so loudly that he always knew where I was.
Daddy got called at work because I came down with a fever, most likely from my inoculations. I was in a very good mood at school, but I still had to go home. Daddy was relieved to see that I was feeling fine. I was actually more than fine because I knew that if Daddy was picking me up that meant that I would be able to spend the rest of the day with him. That put me in a really good mood!

I had a slight fever today because of my inoculations yesterday, so I stayed at school instead of going for a walk today. I just took it easy and hoped my fever would go down.

I am definitely not a still sleeper. I toss, turn, and roll around. The result is a bad case of bed head.

Some nights I wake up and can’t put myself back to sleep. This is because I see Mommy and Daddy in their bed and I don’t even try to go to sleep. I either just call for them or start crying until they come and get me. Before they would have to take me out to the living room to get me back to sleep, but recently I’ve been able to settle in bed with Mommy and Daddy and have a nice sleep.

Sometimes I resist bedtime and do anything I can not to go to sleep. But some days I’m just so tired and comfy that I accept the fact that it is bedtime and I go to be peacefully and quietly. Part of the reason today was that I got a couple of inoculations so it is taking it out of me. I need a nice long sleep.

I know it looks like I’m up to no good, but I’m actually a very well-behaved boy.

I think it is safe to say that when I’m eating is one of my favorite times of the day. I’m almost always full of smiles when there is food on my table moving into my mouth.

We had another nice walk at school today. As usual, I was in the stroller and taking it easy. I may not be able to hang out with my classmates, but I definitely have a better view of everything around us.

Look how much I’ve grown. My head and toes are practically touching the opposite ends of the crib. I think it is nearly time for a new crib.

I’m getting much better at eating with a spoon. I’m pretty good at scooping up food and putting it in my mouth. When I have a hard time scooping up food I just place the food on the spoon with my other hand and then put it in my mouth. We all think that this improvement with the spoon is because of my ice cream eating the other night. I have to be ready to scoop and eat with efficiency the next opportunity I have to eat ice cream or other good things like that.
I destroyed one of my cars today. It was quite on purpose, but also unintentional. This particular car would fall apart a lot and Daddy kept fixing it. I was aware that it could come apart so I would start to pull it apart just to have Daddy fix it. But then Daddy fixed it too well this time and when I tried to take it apart I broke it. “Broke” might be a mild way of putting it. I destroyed it, snapping it in half. Sadly Daddy could not fix it this time.
We were hanging out at the shopping mall when we saw that there was a show on. There was a big screen and they were showing something that looked like a trailer for some movie. It was kind of interesting, but I was more interested in being so high up off the ground. The view was great.
I do some weird things sometimes. For a while I’ve been doing this weird thing where I bite the bottom silicon ring off my bowl. Why? Can’t really say. It’s just something that I do.

I’ve kind of been hooked on soup recently. I love all the soups I’m served and slurp it up like there’s no tomorrow. I’ve always liked miso soup, but recently I’ve had a taste of corn soup and I’m loving it. Yum yum yum!

We went out to dinner with Baaba and Obachan tonight and had a great time. I entertained them with me just being me. They loved seeing how much a grew up and how much I could eat. I enjoyed impressing Baaba and was happy to see my buddy Obachan again. After I finished my dinner I got to eat the dessert that came with my kids’ meal and it was delicious. It was pudding (like flan) and very tasty!
I was very happy with my meal but then got a pleasant surprise. Mommy, Baaba, and Obachan got dessert as well and Obachan shared her chestnut ice cream with me. It was only the second time in my life that I had ice cream and I had forgotten how amazing it is. I was thrilled to get another taste.

I was loving it so much that I made it my own. I even gave Obachan a “What are you doing?” look when she dared take bites of her own ice cream. In the end with both finished it off.
I nice surprise was that I instantly got better at using a spoon in order to eat the ice cream. I started just spooning it into my mouth as skillfully as I could.
I was so excited about something that even I didn’t understand. I kept shouting “Dada dada dada,” even though I didn’t mean Daddy. Who knows what I was trying to say. I think Mommy and Daddy were confused but entertained to see me so excited.

Just taking it easy and playing with my blocks.
