Rough morning

What can I say? I had a rough morning. I was just not feeling very good. I’ve been having rough mornings from time to time. Sometimes the smallest things or imperceptible things set me off. After I have a good cry about it and realize that either Mommy and Daddy are not going to give in or just don’t get why I’m crying, then I stop. Usually.

Visiting Jiiji and Baaba

Today Obachan invited Mommy and me out shopping and we had a nice surprise. Ojichan, Mommy’s brother, was there. He came down for a surprise visit. It was good to see him again and we got along very well. Since we were in the shopping area of the city we were able to meet up with Daddy briefly for lunch. He was surprised to see Ojichan as well.

After shopping we made an impromptu visit to Jiiji and Baaba. When I got there, I cried at first, but was soon able to calm down and enjoy myself. It had been a long time since Jiiji saw me and he was very impressed by how much I grew and how many new things I could do on my own. Despite the rocky start, it was a pleasant visit.

Buggy buddies

It’s been a long time since I got to ride in the buggy. Only four of us in my class showed up today. Everyone else was out sick. So that meant there was room for me in the buggy with my buddies.

We went to the park and enjoyed playing out in the sun. We walked around a lot, but then I got tired and decided to take a rest. That’s me in the background.

Breakfast on the go

I had a really good sleep last night. I slept the whole night through and did not wake up on my own. Daddy had to wake me up to get me ready for school. I was fussy or anything, just still a bit sleepy. I ate most of my breakfast at home but then we had to get ready and head out. So I took the rest of my breakfast to go.

Looking for a book

I’ve been reading a lot lately. Of course, I’ve always liked my books, but these days I’ve been having Mommy and Daddy read book after book after book. I just can’t get enough of them. And I actually sit through the whole book, not skipping pages or just jumping to the end. I thoroughly enjoy every page.
