I got a neat Halloween card from Grandma and Grandpa. Look how cute! Can you believe it came in an envelope? So cool!

We celebrated Halloween at nursery school today! First we had Halloween story time and I surprisingly was fairly attentive and well behaved in my seat. Then we dressed up in some costumes! They were simple but very cute!
Happy Halloween everyone!

I ate up all my breakfast and started playing around with my bib. First it was to get any food that was caught in it and then it was a game of peekaboo!
Then I realized I was still hungry so I asked Daddy for more food.
One of my favorite books is called Pyon! and it is filled with animals jumping straight up in the air! I try my best to do the same, but I can’t quite get my feet off the ground. I’ll keep trying. Still, I really like the book!

Udon noodles are my favorite, but somen is pretty good too! I like it because it is easier to stuff in my mouth. Mommy and Daddy don’t like it as much for the exact same reason. I must admit, it is a lot messier than udon.

But it is oh so good!

I love my udon because I like the texture of the noodles. But I also love the dashi that it comes in. Very tasty. Good to the last drop.

I take after Daddy in many ways, but my good posture definitely does not come from him. This is all Mommy!

At dinner I saw that Daddy had something yellow and tasty looking on his plate and it looked like an orange. Of course I wanted to try it. As you can guess, it did not taste how I thought it would and I did not like it. But I went back for a second taste just to be sure.

After a lot of snacks I was ready to go trick-or-treating and show off my dinosaur costume that Grandma made for me. As I walked around the mall, I turned a lot of heads and got a lot of “Look how cute!” and “What an amazing costume!” comments.

Being a dinosaur makes you really hot and thirsty. Even fierce dinosaurs need rest and liquid refreshment.

While trick-or-treating I lost my balance and fell over. I’m not sure how it happened. Maybe my tail was too heavy or I wasn’t paying attention because I was drinking and walking. Whatever the reason, I just topple over. I didn’t hurt myself, but it was surprising and embarrassing. And the timing couldn’t have been worse. We had just passed by a store participating in the trick-or-treating and the worker offered me some treats. Maybe that’s what actually distracted me.

After I got my treat I felt much better!
Despite some spills, I really enjoyed my first trick-or-treating! I look forward to more trick-or-treating, especially now that I know that I get some snacks to munch on!
Later on we plan to take some Halloween costume pictures at home with decorations and everything. Today was mainly about the trick-or-treating.
I hope everyone has a Happy and safe Halloween!

We came to the shopping mall because it is the Halloween season and some stores in the mall were giving treats to trick-or-treaters. There was not requirement to wear costumes, but I would have no other opportunity to wear this awesome costume that Grandma mad for me so I decided to go all in on the trick-or-treating. Mommy and Daddy waiting until I was in a good mood and distracted (read: bribed) me with snacks as they got me dressed. During our practice costume changes I was very disagreeable, but today I had the Halloween spirit and let them dress me in my dinosaur costume.
People who were passing by couldn’t help but comment on how cute I looked and how awesome my costume was.

Oddly, I didn’t want to put on the booties, even though they would go over my shoes. I started to throw a fit, so Mommy and Daddy had to give up on the booties and then try and calm me down again.

After I calmed down I got into the mindset of a dinosaur and was ready to do some trick-or-treating.

Growl! Roar! Grrrr!!! I’m a dinosaur!!!

Whew! Time for a break.

Mommy and Daddy are trying to get me ready for Halloween by easing me into the costume wearing part of Halloween. So today we just tried on my dinosaur hat a bit and I didn’t mind it too much. But it didn’t stay on my head very long.

I wasn’t very hungry during breakfast and only ate my yogurt and a little bit of bread. When I was almost ready for school I got hungry again. Luckily, Daddy had saved my bread so I finished it off.
