Practicing making a cute face! Smile!

Mommy says “up”, so I go down off the chair.
Then I choose my own timing to get up on the chair.
Then I climbed up on the table for good measure.

I was a bit sleepy during our walk, but I perked up when I we started off because there was so much to see.
One of my kids’ shows has a lot catchy songs that I like to dance to and do the motions. This one is a song about digging up vegetables and I like to pretend to dig up the vegetables in our house. Who would have guessed that a song about digging up vegetables could be so much fun?

Today I was in a bit of a mood and did not want to sit in my chair for breakfast. So Daddy let me sit in his lap and eat breakfast, which was really nice. My mood improved a lot and I ate all my breakfast like a good little boy!

Drinking up and eating up. I’ve always been a good eater but now I’m a more independent eater. I grab food on my own and even drink from a big boy cup on my own. Sure, I spill a bit here and there, but my bib catches most of it that I can clean up later. I’m not just talking about the food.

We visited the prefectural office today and looked at al the different displays they had. The flowers were pretty cool but I thought the food display for the cafeteria was much better. It looked delicious!

We had fun playing indoors as well. My classmate was showing us how to do a headstand…kind of. I just liked walking around.

I was still hungry after breakfast today so Daddy said he would give me some Cheerios if I sat down nicely and ate it without making a mess. I did exactly that.

After I finished my dinner we were just playing around before my bath time. Daddy was showing me how to make cup ears and cup eyes. I’m getting better and better at mimicking and just do what I see almost automatically now-a-days.

I also had fun playing with these little garden eel magnets that we had around the house. I have a feeling that I’m going to enjoy playing with magnets a lot more the older I get. There seems to be a lot of science behind magnets that intrigues me.

When we left the house for school, I insisted on bringing my toy car. Daddy allowed me to do that as long as I agreed to give it to him when we got to school. (I did and he went to work with a little toy car in his bag.)
On the way to school I did my usual bus spotting and saw a bunch of them today! So exciting to wave goodbye to them as they drive off.

I’m still almost always in the stroller when we go for our walks. I wonder if I’m too big for the buggy and make it cramped or throw off the weight balance. I don’t think I did anything bad enough to get blacklisted from the buggy. Oh well, I guess it is fine. I get a more comfortable seat with a better view in the stroller.

Daddy must like my new cool jacket a lot because he sure takes a lot of pictures of me wearing it, even when I’m not doing anything particularly interesting.

Yes, it looks like I have terrible table manners with my feet up on the table like that. But there is a reason. I pooped my Pampers.

I may not be able to sit still for stories at school, but I always stay firmly planted on Mommy’s lap when she reads to me. That is until it is time for me to get another book…then another, and another, and another….

It was a rainy day today, so we spent the day indoors. It was still a lot of fun. We started off with story time, and I think I’m doing better at sitting still. Maybe it is because my teacher was right behind me to make sure I stayed in one place.
Even though story time was good, I much preferred our active time. I loved climbing up on the mats, as do my classmates. We are just a bunch of monkeys.

We did some arts and crafts today, but I did not really like it. We put paint on our feet and used the footprints to make art. I was not a fan of that.
