Past seven

Like I mentioned before, I’ve been waking up around 7 lately. I don’t even cry when I wake up, I just roll around and wait for Daddy to notice that I’m up. Then we begin our morning routine on a tighter schedule. Even when I wake up at 7, we try to be out the door by 8. Luckily, when I have a long sleep I tend to be in a more cooperative mood and we haven’t been late for school or work yet.

Tomatoes please

I usually eat dinner before Mommy and Daddy. But sometimes they start getting their dinner ready as I eat. When I saw a bowlful of tomatoes on the table I just had to have some. So I asked nicely and got a few servings. I’m afraid I did not leave much for Mommy or Daddy, but they didn’t seem to mind. They were just happy to see that I enjoyed tomatoes!

Good sleeper

I’ve been sleeping quite well lately. I don’t wake up in the middle of the night that much anymore. And I wake up later than I used to. Before I’d be up before or around 6, but nowadays it is closer to 7 or even past. I must be having a growth spurt if I need that much sleep.

Shopping

When we go shopping these days, I am allowed to walk around on my own. Actually, I usually start off in a cart but I kind of escape and end up walking around. And I automatically seek out anything Anpanman. I don’t try to buy the things, I just like finding them and pointing them out. And Anpanman is so popular that there is a lot of things to find. It keeps me very busy and very happy!

Uncomfortable dinosaur

I tried on the Halloween costume that Grandma made for me, and while I think it is super cute, I was a bit uncomfortable. Not only was it hot today to begin with, but I just wasn’t used to wearing a body suit. I think it will take some practice. Either that or an understanding that wearing a costume means that I can get some treats!

Shopping center train

While walking around the shopping center I saw that they had a train for kids going around and around. I just had to ride it! I made my wish known by pointing at the train and whining a lot! When we got into line we realized that I was not the only one who felt that way. There were a lot of kids crying and whining to ride the train and also a lot who just finished their ride crying and whining to ride again.

When we got on the train I was very happy, but it didn’t really show on my face. I really enjoyed our ride and instantly cried when it was over because I wanted it to last longer. But of course we didn’t go for another ride, especially because the line had gotten longer than before. So, I just have to look forward to our next visit.

Traffic watching at breakfast

While waiting for Mommy and Daddy’s breakfast to arrive, I already ate at home, I had fun watching traffic and pointing out all the buses. Every so often I also spotted a train go by on the track. So much to watch!

When Mommy and Daddy’s breakfast arrived I forgot that I had already eaten and discovered that I was hungry, so I helped them eat their breakfast.
