Daddy and I were playing with my stuffed animals when he started hugging them. Then he hugged them so tightly that the exploded out of his arms. I thought it was hilarious!
Curious about Daddy’s lunch

I often am fed lunch before Mommy and Daddy eat theirs because I’m not one for patience and I usually want to eat right away. But when it is their turn to eat I usually climb into Daddy’s lap to see what they are having for lunch.
Today they were eating hamburgers and I was very curious about it. I usually just look at their food but today I started probing Daddy’s hamburger with my finger. I didn’t actually try to eat it, but I was getting close to it. I also was curious about Daddy’s drink. I was playing with the straw and then tried to take a drink. Daddy already finished it and positioned the straw so that I couldn’t suck anything up.
In the end I didn’t partake in their meal, but I was very curious about it.
Taking Grandma and Grandpa outside for a break

We were in the middle of our chat with Grandma and Grandpa when I wanted to go outside. So, we brought them (via iPad) outside with us as we had a mini picnic with light snack in our carport. After I ate the snack I went for a walk around and around the carport.
I went up and down the two sets of steps in front of our apartment over and over again. I walked around the car, along the gate, passed our garden, and just here and there in the carport. Grandma and Grandpa were very impressed by how steady I was on my feet even going up and down the steps.
While walking around I found that my pool had filled up with rain water so I started play with it. First I touched the surface, then I dipped my fingers, and in the end I was splashing water all over the place with my hands. That ended my time outside because Daddy had to take me inside to change my clothes.
Konnichiwa bow
I was reading one of my books and was practicing how to bow when saying konnichiwa. I’ve been able to wave bye-bye for quite some time, but I bowed hello every so often. I think I got it now.
Sleeping mask

The lights are off and I only have a faint night light, but sometimes even that is too bright for me to go to sleep. I think I need a sleeping mask.
Udon restaurant

Tonight we decided to go to an udon restaurant for dinner. We didn’t really have any food at home so we figured we could get dinner and go grocery shopping after. I like eating out but I don’t like waiting for food. As you can see, I was very impatient.
Once I got some udon in my bowl I was a happy camper.

That was at least until Mommy and Daddy tried to switch out my empty bowl for a new bowl with more udon. I thought they were taking my bowl away because dinner was over. I did not like that. I might have overreacted a tad.

But then I was back to being happy because I was eating udon!

After I was full I was in a very good mood! I started playing around, pushing my chair back. Luckily I didn’t topple over or anything.

Clay and tents at school

I know that it may not look it, but I had a lot of fun playing with clay today. We were enjoying the feel of it and experimenting with it. To keep it clean the clay was put into ziplock bags, but it was still fun to grab, smoosh, and move around.

It is more obvious that I enjoyed playing in our little Anpanman tent in school. Of course, I enjoyed it. It is Anpanman and I was playing peekaboo. Fun is guaranteed.
Daddy’s Kindle

In the morning when we are getting ready to leave for school and work, I make sure that Daddy has everything he needs for the day. That’s just my justification for snooping through his bag. I found his Kindle today and I figured that I should help him out so I changed the font size for him since his eyes are getting old.
You’re welcome Daddy!
Bath octopus squirt

I’ve had this bath toys for quite a while and I knew that they could squirt water. The problem was I was never able to squeeze hard enough to squirt water out of them. Today, I finally learned how to make the octopus squirt water. Next I have to learn how to do the same with all the other animals.
Fighting over the remote
I found the AppleTV remote and discovered that when I press a button on it, the TV switches over to the AppleTV and then I could navigate the menu by pushing all kinds of buttons. I was have a lot of fun, but then Mommy wanted to watch a program so she used the regular TV remote to switch over to regular TV. Then I pressed buttons on the AppleTV remote and switched to my fun menu. And that is how we ended up fighting over the remote.
I may have enjoyed causing Mommy grief a bit too much.
Up, up, up, down, down, down

Park focus

Nowadays when we go to the park on our walk at school, I love walking around a lot. But I still love watching the buses go by as well. I wave at them as they pass. My interest in the bus has caught on and sometimes I have a few classmates lined up with me bus-watching and waving as they go bye!
Happy breakfast with cheese

I’m usually a pretty good eater in the morning. I love my bread and banana yogurt. I’m happy to be able to break my fast after a nice good night’s sleep. But sometimes my normal breakfast is not enough. Today I was still hungry after eating everything and I told Daddy. He understood and got me some small pieces of cheese. That was enough and I was in a really good mood after I finished my cheese.
Milk before bed

I always have a cup of milk before I go to bed. It is just extra insurance so that I don’t wake up hungry in the middle of the night. Recently, I’ve been sleeping very well and throughout the night, so I think we owe part of that to the milk. Cheers to the milk! Kanpai!
Pushing classmates around in a stroller

You’ve seen how much I like pushing the stroller around the park. That’s not going to change even if my classmates are riding in it. Sure, it is a bit heavy, but I manage.
Getting ready for school

Getting ready for school is all about checking off all the things you have to do. I woke up, ate breakfast, changed my diaper, changed my clothes, took my temperature, got my school bag ready, brushed my hair, got my shoes and I was all set.
I checked Daddy’s bag to make sure he was ready for work and had everything he needed. I found the bread that he planned to eat at work for breakfast. I took it upon myself to make sure it was good. Yep, it’s good.

Taking it easy

Sometimes after a long day, it is nice to just take it easy and relax when I get home.
Fun at the park

On our walk at school we went the park and I had a lot of fun with my teachers! We walked around, slid down the slide, and of course had a ride on the swing! I was full of smiles the whole time!
Bread crumbs
Some mornings I’m more eager to eat than others. Today was a slow breakfast day. I was playing with my food instead of eating it. Eventually my hunger won and I ended up eating everything, as I always do, but it was messy.
Fed, bathed, and not ready for bed; “Gomen nasai”

I’m all ready for bed, but I’m not ready to go to bed. I’m not even willing to clean up my toys even though it is bedtime. “Gomen nasai” *bow*
