I’ve been very good at brushing my teeth. I hear that some kids don’t like it, but I think it is great and tasty! I like the toothpaste (gel in my case) taste! Yum!

We all had a class to learn a new song today. I picked it up right away and was a bit uninterested for the rest of the class. I may have to work on my classroom behavior. I don’t really enjoy sitting still and paying attention. I much rather be moving and playing.

Yay! Tunnel time!
I like copying Mommy and Daddy in everything they do. Daddy was making air kisses and I started copying him. But when I tried to copy him it only occasionally came out as air kisses and often came out as lip smacking. I’m still working out the fine motor skills of my mouth. I’ll get it eventually.

I’m still eating really well at school! I often have seconds at lunch. Not only do I enjoy the food, but I also enjoy the company. I like to do kanpai with my classmates and teachers. We’re just drinking tea, but I could go for something a little stronger.

I really like my bedtime routine. I rarely every resist it anymore. I happily follow Daddy when it is bath time, which I enjoy. Then after my bath I get some milk and a book. I really enjoy this part. Then after I finish my milk and book I brush my teeth and go to bed. I no longer fight going to bed. I actually am willing and happy to go to bed. After I finish brushing my teeth I voluntarily go to Daddy’s arms and he and Mommy bring me to bed. Once there go to bed easily and peacefully and rarely cry. I just kind of lay there, touching my belly button, and roll around until I fall asleep. A pretty good bedtime routine if you ask me.
I’m communicating more and more every day! I like having a conversation and answering questions. I like to nod “yes” and say “un” which is like a Japanese “yeah”. Mommy and Daddy like asking me all kinds of questions!
I love to dance! I’ll dance to almost anything! I’ll dance to pop music, Daddy say, “boom, boom, boom, boom,” and even the intro songs to my kids’ shows. I just love to dance!
Mommy and I were hiding today. I was hiding behind some cabinets and Mommy was hiding behind the couch. It was not quite peekaboo and not quite hide-and-go-seek. Still, I had fun!

I wear that pants in this family! That means that I’m the boss right? That sounds about right. Actually, these are Daddy’s pants I’m just trying them on for size. I bit big, but I’ll grow into them.

I’m just hiding…or am I? I might be trying to eat the food that got caught in my bib. I guess you’ll never know.

When we were in Hawaii, I had a taste of Cheerios cereal and quite liked it! Mommy and Daddy liked it because it was a nice finger food for me and a very convenient snack or small meal. After we came back to Japan they decided that I should keep eating Cheerios. The only ones we can find here have honey, but I’m old enough to eat honey so that’s not a problem. Even though I look very serious while eating my Cheerios I’m actually quite happy to have them!

More fruits to help fight off my fever. Melons, yum!

I woke up with a fever today. I was still in a pretty good mood, but Mommy and Daddy figured that I should get as much fluids as possible, so I had some extra fruit after eating my breakfast. They got me some nashi, Japanese pear. They were delicious and juicy! This was after I finished my breakfast so I was out of my chair and walking around. Not the best manners, but at least I was eating well. After all, they say to feed a fever.
