I can be pretty messy when I eat sometimes. So I thought that I should clean up after myself by wiping down the floor and table after dinner.
Moving chair backwards with my head
Yeah, I’m a weird kid. I was still hungry after eating my dinner so I signed and said “more” but there was no more food to be had. So I decided to rock back and forth, bumping my head up against the back of my chair. The momentum pushed my chair, which had the wheel locks on, backwards across the floor . Yup, I do amazing, and sometimes worrying, stuff.
Goofy Daddy “rolling dough”

I was tapping and pushing my hands on the table and Daddy said it looked like I was making bread. Kneading the dough and then rolling it. He then showed me what rolling dough looks like and was being really goofy about it. He cracks me up!
Ikura

I finished my dinner and Mommy and Daddy were still eating theirs, when I noticed these little red gelatinous balls on rice and wrapped in nori. Apparently it is ikura, salmon roe, and one of their favorite sushi. I was so curious about it and obviously wanted to try it that they gave me a taste. This is fish eggs that we’re talking about here. And guess what. I loved it! Very tasty with a really interesting texture. Yum yum yum!
Microwave waiting

Who said microwaves are fast? This is taking FOR-E-VER!!!
Taking down boxes

Mommy and Daddy always insist on putting my stuff away. And then I have to go through all the work of making a mess of things again. I no longer just grab things in my toy box, but also things on shelves. I’ve gotten pretty good at pulling down boxes, even heavy ones, and getting to the good stuff inside. Somehow I manage to do it without hurting myself.
Mommy’s school’s culture festival
Mommy’s school had their culture festival today, so that meant that she had to go to work today even though it is a Saturday. We went to visit her so that we could see her school and say hi to her. I was very happy to see her, but I was not so happy to all these new people. Mommy’s coworkers came over to say hi boy did I cry! I am still not keen on meeting strangers. Even though everyone was very friendly and kept going on about how cute I was, I was not a happy little boy. Still, it was nice to see Mommy and her school. As Daddy and I left I felt relieved and happy to not have to be wary of strangers anymore. I was all smiles while leaving the school.
Rice mess

Rice is so much fun to play with! It feels really interesting and it makes interesting noises when you drop it on the floor. Who knew that it could be so much fun to play with food? Mommy and Daddy always want me to explore and try new things, but they always try and stop me from playing with the rice. I don’t know why. It is so much fun to play with!
Every last bit of food

I’ve been told that it is not good to waste food, so I try to eat every last bit of food as not to waste. That and I like to eat food!
Helping load the laundry
Tickle and go
More books at school

I just can’t get enough of books. I read a bunch at home before I came to school but even at school I wanted to read more.
Sleeping buddy in the morning

My doggy is my sleeping buddy and I always take him with me into my crib when I go to bed at night. Some mornings I take him out with me when I wake up just to have a sleeping buddy to cuddle with.
Morning books

Some mornings I don’t even touch any of my toys. I just read a bunch of books.
I don’t want crab for breakfast
Mommy got me a special bread for breakfast. It is crab bread! No, it is not made from crab, it is just shaped like one. She remembers eating it when she was a little kid and has a lot of nostalgic memories of it. I was very surprised to see crab on my plate for breakfast and did not like having it there! This is not my normal breakfast. In the end I tasted a bit, but it is not my favorite breakfast.
Horsey ride

Daddy was lying on his tummy while playing with me and Mommy climbed onto his back to join us. Then Daddy surprised her by pushing up to all fours and giving her a horsey ride. I didn’t want to miss out so I climbed up as well. Our Daddy horsey still has some strength in him because he didn’t buckle under the weight of the two of us. He was actually able to bounce and buck quite a bit! It was a lot fun! I hear that some kids want ponies. I don’t want a pony. I just want my Daddy horsey!
Picking at food

In the end I ate all my dinner but I started off a bit hesitant and was just picking at it. Some times I need to build up my appetite and eating momentum.
Indoors and outdoors

It is surprising to see how different I look when indoors and outdoors. I guess the sun makes me squint a little and that changes the size of my eyes which changes my facial appearance.
Bye-bye bus
Sunscreen

Just putting on some sunscreen before going to school. Usually Daddy puts it on for me, but recently he’s been letting me rub it on.
