High fives and flowers at the park

On our walk at school today we went to the park. It was very cloudy and overcast because of the approaching typhoon. But the nice thing is that it wasn’t that hot today. While at the park we had fun with our teachers, exchanging high fives and checking out the flowers around the park. Even though it looks pretty dark, it was quite pleasant and relaxing.

Picnic with Mommy

Daddy was feeling a bit under the weather, I spent most of the day with Mommy. With the approaching typhoon we decided to stay close to home just to be safe. But staying indoors all day can get old, so Mommy made a picnic outside for me. I had my snacks and toys and Mommy! We had a pleasant time!

Different seats

I like to climb up onto Daddy’s lap when he sits at the dining table. There I can either eye his food or watch some TV.

I also climb up on Mommy’s lap when she puts her makeup on.

But I use my chair too! Especially when I hear that I get to have juice. I don’t want to spill anything so it is best to drink while remaining seated.

Early pick up

Even though I was feeling better, Mommy came to pick me up from school early today because she was able to get off work early. I think she also needed a rest since she’s been fighting a cold for a couple of days.

We had nice relaxing afternoon and even enjoyed a mini picnic outside, with bubbles!

We invited Obachan over and she had fun playing with me, giving Mommy some space to take it easy.

Then Daddy came home and there was no more resting or taking it easy for me.

I made sure to drink a lot of liquids after such active play. I surprised everyone by showing them that I am able to take the cover off my mug and put it back on.

Feeling better with applesauce

I woke up feeling better this morning. I didn’t have a fever and was in a pretty good mood. I was also quite hungry and wasn’t satisfied with my usual breakfast so I had some bonus applesauce as well. I always speedily devour my applesauce because it is in a pouch which I can suck dry in less than a minute. Now I’m feeling even better!

Home early

You wouldn’t have guessed it by just looking me, but I went home early from school today because of a fever again. It was only about an hour earlier than usual, but my teachers noticed that I was sluggish and not my happy self so they took my temperature and found out that I had a fever. They called Daddy and he came to pick me up. I feel fine, but I guess I am a bit more tired and worn down than usual. I thought it was just because I woke up so early in the morning. Well, better safe than sorry. Getting home early means that I can get to bed early and have a nice long sleep to feel better.
