Yep, I’m crying. Nope, I don’t know why. It happens. I’m a baby after all.
I noticed the refrigerator as I was exploring the kitchen today. There were a lot of cool things on it that Grandma and Grandpa introduced to me. They were magnets! Pretty cool! I’m still trying to figure out how they work. They stick to some thing and not others. I haven’t quite worked out the rules, but I’m on it.

Both Grandma and Grandpa have been entrusted with the illustrious job of feeding me. They seemed really happy to do so! They did a very good job! The food kept coming until I was full. Well done!

I’ve been so busy that it seems that my morning naps are now a part of my normal schedule.

We visited the farmers’ market today! It was a lot of fun! There were a lot of stands selling a lot of produce that all looked really good! Mommy and Grandma bought some groceries and Daddy bought some salts and spices, but I was more interested in the Sugarloaf pineapple sorbet that Mommy wanted. She had it during her last visit here and said it was incredible! I had a taste and Mommy was right: it was amazing! So sweet and light, without being too tart, and it was simply frozen Sugarloaf pineapples turned into a sorbet without any additives. Oh so tasty!

I started exploring the kitchen today. Mommy was cooking there so I thought it must be safe. So first I just tried to get the lay of the land. Next, who knows what I’ll do.

I started exploring the cabinets! Grandma and Grandpa had heard about how I open cabinet doors and drawers at home and decided that they should baby proof their house. But surprisingly, I hadn’t opened any cabinets yet until today. I’ve been slowly expanding my range of exploration and today opened the cabinets closest to me. There is nothing dangerous in it, so it wasn’t locked, but now everyone will be watching me closely. I’m so excited because there is so much for me to explore now!

As you can see from the pictures and videos, my first Hawaii beach was awesome! I had a slow hesitant start, but I warmed up to the water quite quickly and ended up loving it! I think I’m surprising everyone with how quickly I get used to things and end up liking things.

Just as we were getting ready to head down to the beach after our picnic, Grandma spotted some rain clouds coming in. We took shelter under a pavilion for a while and Grandpa went to get the car so that I could get complete coverage. I was surprised by all the rain and how quickly it came in. Then I was surprised by how quickly it left as well. I guess that means it’s time for the beach! Good thing I got changed in the car as it rained.

We headed to the beach today! But first things first: food! The grownups picked up some food and I brought my own from home and we had a nice picnic at the beach! Is it just me, or does food taste better when outdoors and with good company?

I’m loving my new car seat! It is very comfortable and it even comes with handy cupholders for my drink. Neat!

Every day at home I play with my cars and trucks. Not much has changed here except of the cars and trucks that I play with.

Grandma and Grandpa have a lot of balls in the house. They gave me a bunch to play with, but I did not play with it the way everyone expected. I’m pretty good at throwing balls, but for some reason I didn’t feel like throwing today. I decided to pass them instead.

I guess being here in Hawaii is more tiring than I thought because I took my nap in the morning again today. I can’t seem to make it to lunch without a nap. I’ll take it as a sign of all the fun I’m having. I woke up a bit groggy but soon had smiles to flash to everyone when I remembered that I was here in Hawaii visiting Grandma and Grandpa!

Grandma has been reading me books since I got here. She and Grandpa got a bunch of books for me, and I already have some favorites. I especially like this lift the flap book with a bunch of animals. It is so cool! Especially when Grandma reads it to me!

Grandma carried me today! She actually carried me a bit yesterday too, but now we have photographic proof! I’m a big boy, but she carried me without problem. It just shows the strength of a grandmother’s love!
