These days when my food is gone I start to lick my plate. I don’t want to waste even the tiniest morsel of food or slightest bit of flavor.

Even though everyone else was very excited to be on our walk, I was feeling quite sleepy. I must have looked pretty sleepy too because the girl who was sitting next to me started to stroke my hair.

And then I was fast asleep.

Sometimes it looks like I’m going to relax on the couch and then off I go to do other things.

Better wipe my hands before I eat breakfast! I don’t want any germs.

I usually do really well at feeding myself, but of course that depends on what I eat. The size of the food can greatly effect how efficiently I eat. So ground beef, although tasty, is not the easiest thing to grab and put in my mouth. What a mess!

Our walks are still interesting and fun, but no longer peaceful. The cicada are out in force and chirp so loud! My whole buggy heard them and tried to look for them. We had an idea of the direction, but we couldn’t see any of them. Maybe next time we’ll have better luck.

I play with my cars and trucks every morning, but it seemed like I ONLY played with cars and trucks this morning. Daddy would argue that there were Legos and books scattered about so I must have played with them as well, but I choose to forget about the mess I made and focus on the fun I had.

Even after three days of staying at home and resting, my temperature was still a bit high. I think my body just runs hotter than others. Anyway, because my temperature was a bit high my teachers thought it would be better if I took it easy at school instead of going outside for a walk. I didn’t really mind. I had a lot of fun playing with toys and my teachers and not having to share!

We got some new hats and I’m actually wearing mine for a change. I usually don’t like to wear hats, but I’m a little more cooperative when being carried to school. And it was sunny so I thought it was necessary to wear a hat. I’ll probably rip it off the head once we are in the shade or indoors.

When I go onto the couch it usually means that I either want to relax or to be played with. I’d say its about 90-10 want to be played with. So Daddy usually tickles me, or finds some way to make me laugh. Today he found a goofy sound that made me laugh a lot!

My morning kids’ TV programs are really interesting. There are a lot of things that I can learn from them. Even Daddy enjoys a few of the shows. He’s learned some trivia, recipes, and quite a few new songs from the shows. They are all very musical. More and more I get into the music and dancing, even copying the moves sometimes. But overall, I just like to move to the rhythm.

Before getting into the bath tub, I do a spot inspection, making sure everything is safe and up to code.
And then a few chest slaps to show my approval.

I just can’t get enough of those Koi nobori tunes! When I hear that music my body just has to move and groove! This is my jam!

I took my diaper pail for a walk today, or more like I used it like a walker. I was really moving and then for some reason I decided to turn into the bedroom. The dark bedroom where I cry while trying to go to sleep. So I cried when I got there. Why I chose to go there? I don’t know.

Mommy and Daddy have been trying to measure my height for quite a while. But I either wasn’t able to stand up very straight or I wasn’t very cooperative. Today they caught me in a good mood and I was steady enough for them to get a semi-accurate measurement: about 77 cm (30.0 in.).

I ate all my lunch and was still hungry, so I beg for a little more. Luckily we still had half a banana left over from breakfast. So I stuffed it in my face and it just disappeared.
