Taking apart Lego

I love playing with my Lego car, but I still haven’t figured out how to build with the other Lego. I like the buildings and structures that Mommy and Daddy make for me. I also like the little Lego people and how they play with me. Although I can’t build with Lego, I figured how to take them apart!

Fine, but lethargic

I woke up with my rash still hanging around. If anything, it got a little bit worse. It is still not itchy or anything, but it just looks bad. I was feeling okay, but possibly a little more lethargic than usual. Sometimes rashes are just reactions of your body fighting something off. Maybe that’s what is happening. We’ll see. We’re heading to the doctor’s and then hopefully off to nursery school if I get the all clear.

Second haircut

I got another haircut today. Today we did it outside to cut down on the hairy mess. I was pretty good, sitting still for the most part. Mommy fed me my dinner while Daddy cut my hair. He was a lot faster this second time around. And he did a pretty good job considering that he is not trained or qualified at all to cut hair. I feel much cooler now!

New cars

After seeing how much I enjoyed my Lego car that I got as part of a set for my birthday, Mommy and Daddy have been looking for the right size car as their birthday present to me. (They held off on the magformers which they got me and decided to switch to cars.). We finally found the perfect size cars today. They were in a bargain bin so I got two! Thank you, Mommy and Daddy! I love them!

Tropical snack

Today’s snack was quite tropical. I had my first taste of mango. It was pretty good, but maybe not my favorite fruit.

I also had some banana sherbet that Mommy made for me. I really liked that! After all, banana is probably my favorite fruit.

Happy Father’s Day Daddy!

I gave Daddy an extra special “Daddy Kiss” on his special day! As always we had a great time today! Our day actually started really early.

Daddy is normally not a morning person but he joined me early in the morning for some lazy Sunday TV. No matter what the time or the occasion, I know that Daddy will always be there for me. Father’s Day was very much like any other day and I think that is what makes it special! Like Daddy says, every day is Father’s Day! Fatherhood is a 24/7 365 kind of deal, so shouldn’t the celebration of fatherhood be the same? I hope I show him all my love and appreciation every day! He definitely shows me how much he loves me every day!

Happy Father’s Day Daddy! I love you and I love every moment we spend together!

Visit from Baaba and Obachan

Baaba and Obachan visited today just to see me! I didn’t cry at all when I saw them. We had a fun time playing. I was extra busy keeping track of where everyone was at all times. Baaba was doing the dishes in the kitchen so I had to go and check to see if she needed help. She was okay so I went off to play and she joined me later. Obachan and I are good buddies now and we play together really well.

It was really nice seeing them. I can’t wait until their next visit!

Restaurant play area

We went out for lunch today, and it just so happened that the restaurant that we went to had a nice little play area. It had some magformers (with a magformer car), books, alphabet machines, and even a little play kitchen. I had a lot of fun playing there while Mommy and Daddy took turns eating.

I finished my meal before Mommy and Daddy’s food even arrived.

Humid weather sweat

It is so hot and humid nowadays. Even when I’m inside with the AC on, I’m sweating a lot. It looks like I just had a shower or took a dip in a pool. It wouldn’t be so bad if it was just wet, but my head starts to smell sour as the day progresses. I hear Mommy and Daddy talking about ditching the baby shampoo and getting something a bit stronger for me.
