Applesauce pack

I’ve had applesauce before. You may remember my first taste of apples back in November of last year. But I’ve always had fresh made applesauce, or more like grated apples. Today I had some applesauce from a pack. I’ve got to say, I like this one better. A lot less tart and much more convenient. I no longer have to wait for someone to grate the apples.

Early morning playtime

I’ve been waking up early in the morning recently. Sometimes it is around 5 and sometimes as early as 4. I don’t really know why. The problem is that when I wake up early in the morning and see Mommy and Daddy in bed, I can’t put myself back to sleep. So I just cry and cry and then yell. So Daddy usually waits for 10 minutes or so and if it doesn’t look like I’m going back to sleep he scoops me out and takes me to the living room where we fall asleep on the couch. It is the best way for everyone to get some much needed rest.

The nice thing about waking up with Daddy on the couch is that we can immediately start playing together. Sure, we’re still groggy, but it’s nice to wake up next to someone.

Me and the boys

It goes without saying that I went to school without problem and without tears. Even after three days off in the middle of the week I was happy to arrive at school and went to my teacher without complaint.

At school I had a lot of fun playing and going for a walk. On our walk I would point out everything I saw and say, “Oooh, aaahh” and the like. My teachers felt that I was trying really hard to tell them something.

At the park I hung out with my boys, which is kind of a given since most of my class is boys and we have only one girl in my age group.

More Boys’ Day Celebration

I made a Boys’ Day Koi Nobori card at nursery school! Pretty cute, yeah? The koi are made out of my footprints. I think I might have had the biggest koi for my age level. Very hearty fish. Oh, and of course I did not eat the mochi. Mommy took care of that for me. I’m sure I’ll love to eat mochi someday, but it is too dangerous for a baby my age to eat.

One of my aunties made a Koi Nobori tapestry and a cute little stuffed cat toy for me. Can you believe that she made it? Pretty impressive!

Toy box

My toy box is always a lot of fun. I can rediscover toys that I hadn’t seen in a while and they become new toys all over again! And my toy box is quite big so it can hold a lot of things. The problem is that it is quite big and it can get in the way sometimes. But don’t worry, I can just power through.

Jungle gym

I ventured over to the jungle gym today. I’ve been down the slide several times, but I hadn’t explored this side before. There are these large flower discs on rails. It is kind of like my beads on rails toy at home, but bigger! More fun to be had! Oh, and there was dirt/sand and dried leaves that I had to give Mommy…just because.

Going to the park with Mommy

As you can see, I had a great time at the park with Mommy! It was a really nice day and we were able to relax and explore in comfort. I stress the word comfort because on the way back I wanted to be even more comfortable. So I took off my sock, tossed my leg over the lap bar of my stroller and cruised in style.

Little boss

Even though I’m the youngest, smallest, and most inexperienced person in the household, it feels like I’m the boss around here. Everyone takes care of all of my needs and they seem to be at my beck and call. When I want to play, we play!

Waaaah!

Yep, I’m not happy. I thought that Daddy was leaving without me, but he just went to water the plants. So, actually, that justifies my reason for crying. We usually water the plants together. Waaaah!
