Nearly every day I explore around my chair. I mess around with the buckles and latches. I push the chair back. I pull on the table. I just explore around my chair.
Now what should I do next?

Don’t ask me why I’m licking the underside of my table. I just do some weird things sometimes. Let’s not get hung up on it.
Even though we had a great weekend and I spent all my time with Mommy and Daddy, I had an idea that this day was coming. It is Monday, so I went to nursery school again. I have kind of come to terms with it and don’t really fight it anymore. I may not be enthusiastic about school just yet, but I accept it. Today I started to whimper when we got to school and offered some weak cries when I was handed off to my teacher, but I didn’t cling onto Daddy like before and I didn’t cry to tears. I just expressed as best I could without words that I preferred to stay at home with Daddy. But off I went to school.
I’ve come to look forward to our daily walks. I like the outdoors and the park is tons of fun. Also, the buggy rides with my friends are a lot of fun too! I was really into one of my friends shirts that had Anpanman on it. I kept touching it a lot during the buggy ride. But also I was pointing at all the things I saw too.

Another day of no tears at nursery school. I got along with everyone and was well behaved. I ate up everything and even had seconds. I even gave myself the bottle of formula, holding it all by myself. Nursery school is no longer a traumatic experience for me. Now it is full of fun and adventures!
When Obachan came to pick me up from nursery school at 17:00 I didn’t cry. In fact I smiled at her and leaned over into her arms. I’m getting closer to spending the whole day at school. It is nearly as long as a work day. Wow!

Daddy doesn’t drop me off at school until 9. Partly because it is the starting time for new students until they get used to school life, and partly because it give Daddy and I some time to play together. But as I grow, I play on my own a lot more and Daddy just watches me…and marvels at how quickly I’m growing up.

I’ve got some new teeth coming in. They have been bothering me for a while and have been very itchy! These will be my first top teeth. The two center teeth are coming in slowly, but surprisingly the one next to the center left is coming in faster. That’s unusual. I thought my teeth were supposed to fill in from the center outward. Oh well, I don’t really care which order they come in, I just want them to get here so that my gums stop itching and so that I can start eating more kinds of food!

I know there is a way to crack these plastic easter eggs open. I know, I’ll use my head!
I like to play with bottles. They are fairly light, easy to grip, and just fun! Now I discovered that there are fizzy bottles. When you shake them the insides fizz and make cool noises. This is even more interesting than before!

Since we were at the park, I wanted to ride the rocking bug again. It was a lot of fun. But I was really nice and even gave Mommy and Daddy a turn.

Happy Easter everyone! We had great weather for our easter egg hunt today. We brought our own eggs from home and made sure I knew that there were treats inside them for me. Then the Easter Bunny hid them so that I could have my easter egg hung. The easter bunny kept the level pretty easy since this was my first easter.

I found all the eggs! Well, I saw all the eggs but I made no effort to get to them, even though they had treats inside. I was content to just look at them. In the end Mommy and Daddy helped me collect the eggs. Then I could play with them and have the treats inside.

It was a fun easter egg hunt and I did enjoy the little treats inside, but I can’t wait until I’m older. Not only will I actually be able to hunt for the eggs on the own, I hear that chocolate is really popular during easter. I can’t wait to get a taste of that!
I like to play with my toys and I’m usually very good at playing nicely. Sure, I can be rough with my toys sometimes, but for the most part I play with toys the way they were meant to be played with.
But I am also a very curious explorer and I play with a lot of things that are not toys and that I should play with. Trash cans, diaper pails, and laundry baskets are always overturned when I’m around.

Some mornings I am very clingy. I need Mommy and I need food. Once I get fed, I’m in a much better mood.

I love my food! Food is great! Woo-hoo!

I pretty much play nonstop so I have to remind myself to take a break every so often. It is also a good time to get my diaper changed. That is, if I don’t run away and continue to play.

I tickle the ivory from time to time. I haven’t had any formal training. I’m self taught. Can you tell?

Daddy doesn’t know that I play with his video games when he isn’t watching. Shhh. Don’t tell him.
*Daddy Note: Yeah, I know you play with my video games. And I’m ALWAYS watching!
Every so often I lend a hand in cleaning up instead of focusing only on making a mess. So sometimes I put my chair away. Keep in mind that the wheel locks are on while I do this. This is all brute force.
