Mommy and Daddy did a little bit of shopping this morning. I was well behaved in the stroller as long as it kept moving. Mommy and Daddy shopped in shifts while the other wheeled me around the store. I had fun looking at all the different items and touching all the clothes that was within my reach.
It is tough not being able to talk. It can be frustrating when you want to communicate something but don’t know how. I try my best to show my wants and intent with action and grunts and growls. But it will be a lot easier when I can just tell Mommy and Daddy, “Carry me!”

Daddy had to tend to the garden a bit today, so I decided to tag along since the weather was so nice. I behaved really well and just sat on my mat drinking my tea while he watered, pruned, and fertilized. Daddy moved me and my mat into the shade after a while because it was quite warm and sunny. I like being outside but I’m going to have to get used to the sun a little at a time.

I tried fu today. They are like these tiny little pieces of very light bread. You may find them in miso soup.

Of course, I liked them. But to be honest, I could barely taste the difference between fu and bread, since the fu was mixed with formula.

I did some exploring at the park today. The park is really clean and nice, but there were a lot of weeds. I took it upon myself to do some weeding. First, I had to introduce myself to the weeds. I don’t know much about weeding, so I had to figure out what it is that I was supposed to do. In the end the weeds stayed where they were. I have to do some research and then get back to them.

I tried some regular orange today. I’ve had mandarin oranges before, but I heard that oranges were slightly different. It tasted a little more tart, but it was still really good.

I’m really into my toys! Literally.

I got some new books from Grandma and Grandpa today! Thank you so much! I can’t wait to read all of them!

Mommy and Daddy don’t want me touching the things behind the couch and for some reason that makes me want to touch them even more. I especially like to touch all the cables, which are supposedly dangerous. Another favorite target is Daddy’s game controller.
Not only do I like to press all the buttons and move the sticks around, but I like to suck on the ear buds. I know, it must sound gross when you think of me sucking on ear buds. Now imagine Daddy unknowingly putting them in his ears. Eeewww!

I tried aji today. It was quite good because it is a little salty and Mommy cooked it in just a little bit of butter. Tasty!

When we got home from our walk, Daddy watered the plants and I thought the water hose was really interesting. I was smiling and laughing at the spray of water. I can’t wait until I’m big enough to play with the water hose on my own!

We often go for walks, sometimes I’m in my stroller and sometimes Mommy or Daddy carries me. I like being outside and seeing the world, but it can get a little dull when I can’t move around freely. So Daddy mixed it up for me a bit with some fancy footwork.

Actually, I’m not happy about the socks. I’m just happy…and there happened to be some socks there.

I was just doing a little exploring today, trying to pick the child lock, looking here and there. Then when exploring the shelves I found my toothbrush. I like my toothbrush! It is tasty and it helps relieve my itchy teeth.

I’m still not talking, but I am growling a lot. Sure I make other cooing and grunting noises, but I growl a lot. I’m just warming up my voice box for when I start talking.
