We have been enjoying the snail song recently. We often request it and like making snails with our hands.
We had gymnastics class today and I participated…sort of. I sat down with my classmates instead of in the observation gallery. I cheered them on when they did the jumping box and the bar. When it was my turn I was brave enough to run up and touch the gymnastics equipment. It is a step in the right direction for me.
This morning I wanted Mommy to carry me on our way to school. I usually have Daddy carry me part of the way and I walk the rest. I guess I was just feeling that I needed more Mommy time. Look at how big I am in her arms. She won’t be able to do this for much longer so I better get as much Mommy carries in while I can.
Today we had our evacuation drill. We all listened to our teacher intently as she explained about different natural disasters and what we had to do when they happened.
It was a rainy day so we played with slime indoors today. It was a lot of fun making all kinds of things. I asked my teacher to make all kinds of poop for me. I’m a kid, that’s what interests me.
I’m such a big boy that I can pretty much go to the potty by myself. I just need help with wiping. The rest I got covered.
There is always so much to see at the prefectural office. If not the displays, there is always the view from the observation deck.
Silliness with Daddy.
I had some screen time with Mommy. We learned a lot about cars and trucks as we cleaned them and maintained them so they could do a lot of work.
I took my remote control car off-roading a bit.
Yep, I’m still doing pretty good at using the potty. I almost always poop in the potty and most pee ends up there too.
I love playing with my Magna-tiles so much. I create all kinds of things. Of course there are a lot of cars and trucks. I made a lot of ambulances and buses today as well. I can play with Magna-tiles for hours. Mommy, not so much.

Then there was a lot of crashing.
Overall, there was a lot of fun to be had with lots of laughter and smiles.
Since we were at the shopping center, I wanted to show Mommy the crane game where I got my cars last time. Since we were there we decided to try our hand at the crane game. We each took turns and I got some new cars again today. Yay!
Mommy had to do some shopping so Daddy took me to get a snack. We were sure to get a couple of donuts for Mommy too.
Look at my new cars! I got a Tomica garbage truck, a mini X-trail and mini Jimny, and a bunch of filler cars. It was a nice haul!
Sometimes you get a craving and then it gets a hold of you. Mommy and Daddy asked me what I wanted to eat for lunch today and without any hesitation I answered “Omurice”. So we went to the shopping center omurice restaurant and had just that. And of course I ate up my entire omurice meal. I just had a craving for it.
I was playing with my toys and just singing to myself, when I noticed that I was being videoed. Then I had to ham it up and start acting silly.
But for some seriousness Daddy and I did some drill practice, coming to attention and marching. Our marching lines were off and we kept crashing.
Mommy and I did a little baking for breakfast this morning. Unfortunately I was not a big fan of the results so I had bread and jam with my fruits instead. Sometimes baking doesn’t turn out the way you want it to. But jam on bread almost always turns out the way you want it to.
Just making some sound effects as I wind myself down to sleep.
Whew. What a long week. On Friday when you get home you just want to have a drink with your buddy and relax.
At the park today, we all had a great time chasing balls around. We worked up a good sweat. We also looked for some pretty flowers. Sure, the most abundant flowers are actually weeds, but they are still pretty.
One of my usual parts of my breakfasts these days is bread with jam. Usually Daddy spreads it for me, but sometimes I like to do it on my own (to get a little more jam on there).
I also can dress myself when I’m feeling independent. No, I did not mess up putting on my pants. I put it on backwards on purpose, so that I can have an easily accessible pocket. It is what a lot of my classmates are doing these days. It’s fashionable.
Somethings change, somethings don’t.
Before leaving school I just had to take a dive onto the big cushion in our book room. Then I chose a book to borrow and off we went.
It was a raining day and I was really happy because I got to wear all my rain gear!
After dinner I had a cookie for dessert and that pumped me up before bedtime. Probably not the best idea to give me sugar before I’m supposed to go to sleep.
