Beer festival

Mommy and Daddy wanted to stop by a beer festival, so we headed into the city. THe weather wasn’t great, but we found a table under a tent, so we were able to stay dry.

Even though I didn’t partake in any of the beer, I had a great time. We picked up some food for me and a bunch of snacks too.

Not only did I have a lot of yummy food and snacks, but I also got to enjoy some groovy music.

Teishoku

Daddy got off work early today, which is to say at proper quitting time, and I was kind of dragging my feet on the way home, so we all got home about the same time. Since we hadn’t started cooking dinner, Daddy suggest we just go out for dinner so we went to a nearby teishoku restaurant. They are famous for their aji (horse mackerel) fry, so I ordered one of those teishoku (set meals). It wasn’t a kids’ meal or anything, just a normal set meal intended for adults. I finished the whole thing. I even had Mommy and Daddy’s tofu and a taste of their main dishes as well.

English lesson and bubbles

Today in our English lesson we learned about numbers, colors, and feelings. As always I excelled during the English lesson and had a great time!

At the park our teacher blew bubbles for us and we had fun chasing them all around the park. We caught a bunch of bubbles and tried not to let any of them get away.

Birthdays and painting

A couple of my good friends have birthdays this month so we had a bit of a birthday party at school today.

We also did some painting. We used coffee filters and let the colors bleed together.

We had gymnastics class again today, but I chose to spectate again. I’m just not ready to participate just yet.

Morning

I’m not quite a morning person. I manage to get up in the morning with the promise of food and some of my Super Simple Songs videos. Some days I perk up quite quickly and on other days it takes me a while to get going.

Ducks and running

On our way to the park today we saw some ducks and stopped by to say hi. We watched them swim and quack a bit before we headed to the grassy area to play.

We ran around a lot and also looked for dandelions. It was a nice day so we made sure to take a lot of water breaks.

It’s nice to be able to run around and be outside on sunny days.

Rainy day

It was rainy today, so we couldn’t go for a walk, but that was fine. We did a lot indoors. We played house and I went shopping for bread to make sandwiches. I made sandwiches and share them with my teacher.

We also played on the mats and got a lot of exercise.

When playing with blocks I asked my teacher to make all kinds of things like trains and buses. Whenever she made them for me a smile spread across my face and I said, “Thank you!” My requests weren’t easy, but my teacher did a good job making everything that I asked for.

New park

On our way home from the train station we walked by a park I had never been to before and decided to check it out. It was pretty nice. I liked the slide a lot. When I went up there I found that there were some rocks there. So I thought that it was a thing at the park, like a payment system. So every time I went up the slide I brought a rock and left it at the top before I slid down.

New things and old things

Walking home from the train station we past a new building and Mommy and Daddy were talking about what was there before. I asked them why old buildings are replaced with new ones. They answered that some times for safety or needs the old has to go to make way for the new. I thought about this for a moment and said “Just like Mason’s toys.” I knew this was true because earlier this year I had to choose some old baby and freebie toys to get rid of to make room for some new toys.

Donut snack

We went to Hakata train station because it was the last stop on the train bus. But there was also an event that Mommy wanted to check out. I was hungry so Daddy took me to get a snack. We had donuts! Don’t I make them look so delicious?

Buffet and train bus

Mommy found out that there is a train bus in the city (a bus designed to look like a train) and figured that I would like to ride it. She was right. So we figured that we may as well have lunch there too. There was a nice buffet there that had a lot of delicious food. I ate a lot! And there was a lot of tiny little dessert dishes. That was my favorite part of the buffet.

After lunch we had some time to waste until the bus came so I had fun looking into the water around the port.

Then it was train bus time!

All the excitement was too much for me and with the soothing ride of the train bus I fell asleep.

But I woke up in time to say goodbye to the train bus and immediately say that I wanted to ride it again.
