Diaper head!

Diaper head!

It’s a Aloha Friday, no school till Monday. I’m so happy that another week of school is done and tomorrow I get to enjoy two days off for the weekend. Two days to play, two days to play. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Two days to play!

We went to the park today and we all played in the sand. We were making a lot of “curry”. I collected my ingredients and mixed them. I think my curry turned out really well!

We had a fun English lesson today! We studied colors and I could recite all of them without any problem!

We also went for a nice walk in the park. There were many pretty plum blossoms to see. Sure, the ones on the trees were pretty, but I was more interested in the petals on the ground.
Back at school, we played with construction blocks and when I noticed a friend looking for a particular piece or part, I would find it for them and give it to them saying, “Here you go.” Then my friends would return the favor and I would thank them. We got along very well and remembered our manners.
After dinner I was hopping around like a bunny. But I went to get a jelly snack so I could only use one had, so I ended up being a one-eared bunny.

It wasn’t raining today so we were able to go for our walk, but the ground was still very wet so we couldn’t go to the park. We went to the prefectural office instead.

There were some pretty flowers on display that we enjoyed looking at.

There was even a Hinamatsuri (Girls’ Day) display up, so we took a cute little group photo.
When taking a bath, my Curious George boat kept falling off the edge of the tub because of the current from the shower. It was like it was going over a waterfall. It was so funny! I found the best place to put the boat to repeat the stunt.

After our walk today, we came back to school and played with Gestars. They are these slotted discs that you can connect to make all kinds of creations. I really enjoy playing with them and get in the zone when making things.

Just taking an early morning drive before I go to school.
I’ve been doing a lot of things in my “bus” recently. Since it is cold when I get out of the bath, Daddy sometimes throws the blanket over us when he dresses me in my pajamas. I tell him it is like being in a bus. So now I like to do a lot of things in my blanket bus. We even read my bedtime books in the bus. It is nice and warm, but a bit dark. There are some books that Daddy has a hard time reading because he can’t see the words. Still, I love being able to do so many things in my “bus”

Look who is getting taller! I am almost 95 cm (37 in.) tall and I grew 11 cm (4.3 in.) in one year!

When Daddy comes home from work, often one of the first things I say is, “House talk to Daddy.” I like it when Daddy has conversations with House. It allows me to hear about Daddy’s day, and House’s, and then jump in and share things about my own day. But there are days when I get all my stuffed animals involved and we all play together. It is a lot of fun, but I think it is hard for Daddy to keep track of all the voices he has to do.

Today was a rainy day so we had to stay inside. We were read some books and sang some songs.

We had our rhythmic session where we marched around like trains on a track to music.

We also played with clay. I had fun making all sorts of things, but I also enjoyed being nice to my friends. I shared the knife I was using and offered it to my friend saying, “Here, you can use this.” When my friends shared with me I thanked them politely. It is so nice to share.

Today I am 1000 days old! Wow! That is a lot. At least I think it is. I’m not really sure. If I’m 1000 days old, I wonder how many days old Daddy is?
(Daddy: 16,805)

I had a great goofy day. I was so happy that it was a Sunday. When I wake up in the morning I often check to see if it is a school day or not. When it is the weekend we even have a weekend chant that Daddy made up: “Two days to play, two days to play. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Two days to play.” But since it is Sunday it is only one day to play now, but I’m just as happy.

When we go to the park I like to give any flowers I find to Mommy. It is the same at home too.

Spy chair at lunch.

Getting every last drop of juice.

Getting a special treat at Starbucks because if Mommy gets a treat, so should I.

Although I love playing with my vehicles, I do also make time to play with other toys, like my stuffed animals and building blocks.

It is tradition to eat ehomaki on setsubun. It is supposed to represent longevity. I consumed my longevity very quickly and deliciously. I like traditions that involve eating delicious food.

When we go shopping I’m quite the little helper. I push the shopping cart around and help pick things up that we need. Sometimes I pick up things that we don’t need as well.
