Train time

I had a great day at school. We did a bit of dancing at school and we even went for a walk, although it was quite hot. Quite an active day.

I hear that some kids go to school on a school bus, but I prefer a Daddy piggyback.

Sometimes I’m not really into what is going on at school, but I sit in my chair and behave.
Other times I’m very interested in what I’m doing.

Then there is lunch time when I’m 100% focused.

It all started with us going outside to eat watermelon and somehow I ended up in the pool. What went wrong? Or what went right? I was covered in watermelon juice and I knew I was going to have a bath pretty soon anyway, so why not just jump in the pool.
It all worked out because I had to break in some new swim short. Hmm, they might be a bit loose around the waist.

We bought some watermelon for dessert, but because it can be very messy and it was a very warm evening we decided to eat it outside.

First thing in the morning all I wanted to do was read my new books.

We were escaping the heat a bit by stopping by a store that happened to sell some books. They had some books that were very interesting to me so we bought them. You can never have too many books, especially when they are educational books.

We ate somen for lunch and it was oh so good! But a bit messy.

After a morning outside in the pool, it is nice to take it easy in the air-conditioned room and just chill with the iPad.

Just making sure that my airplanes are flight worthy.
I had fun playing with my music player, making it “stop” and “go” at will while it sang the theme from Mission Impossible.

Second breakfast, the second most important meal of the day.

I’m really getting use to this nitoryu spoon and chopsticks style of eating. I can continuously bring food to my mouth. Great!
I know there are a lot of non-Japanese people out there who think natto is gross, but us Japanese kids love it! Never mind that it is slimy and smelly. It is delicious!

Right when we got home today I wanted to play with the cool planes that Nana and Papa got for me. I knew I couldn’t fly them around so I turned on the lights and watched them flash.
