We were having dinner and talking about a bunch of different things and somehow we got on the topic of shoulder shrugs. I think it came up because of a scene in the movie Sister Act where the nuns were doing shoulder shrugs while singing. I picked up on it and started to do shoulder shrugs. Then the shoulder shrugs got silly! Daddy made it even sillier by doing a weird goblin-like voice. We had a great laugh about all of it!
Then Mommy and Daddy showed me the actually clip of the shoulder shrugs and then I got it. But I was more interested in conducting the music by that time.

I had ramen for the first time today. Can you believe it? You would think that I would have had it a long time ago. I think Mommy and Daddy were hiding it from me because they knew that ramen is so delicious and I might not eat anything else after it. Well, they were right. It was super delicious! But of course I’ll still eat other foods, even other noodles.
I really enjoyed the ramen. I was very quiet and focused on eating. I don’t think I came up for air until I was done eating everything. The noodles were great, but the soup was so good! I drank every last drop! I can’t wait until we eat ramen again!

Since I had had such a great time playing in the pool I thought I should help with the pool cleaning. I helped by playing in the pool again. Needless to say I got soaked and needed to change all of my clothes. Nobody said pool cleaning was going to be dry work.

I like to help Daddy in the garden. Today we took the water from the pool to water the garden. I did what I could to help by carrying a bucket of water to the plants. It was too heavy for me to pour, but I was still a big help!
And as a reward I stomped in the water puddles.

First breakfast is finished. Now I take short break and wait until Mommy and Daddy eat breakfast and then it is time for second breakfast. I usually eat nearly half of Daddy’s breakfast, but recently his plate has a lot more food. I think he has been calculating how much I steal from his plate and makes sure there is enough left for him.

We had a visit from Ojisan who was in town from Tokyo for a day. He had some miles he wanted to use up so he came to visit me. I was very good this time and did not cry at all. I was actually happy to see him and had fun interacting with him. Especially because he brought me some yummy jelly (jell-o) from Tokyo. Now I can’t wait for his next visit.

I have an app with a timer for when I brush my teeth. I am very good about brushing my teeth the recommended amount of time. But I also won’t start before the timer starts. 3…2…1…Start!

As much as I love school, I love being at home with Mommy and Daddy.

It is my place of peace and happiness. Especially when we take a break and watch some TV together as a family. (I choose the show, of course.)

Taking up my usual position at the fence on our visit to the park so that I can spot as my buses and cars as possible.
Some days Mommy has the early shift so as we are walking to school she heads off to the subway and goes to work and then Daddy drops me off at school. More often than not she spends every last second she can spare with me and then runs off (maybe more like trots off) toward the subway station. I watch her go and think its funny how she runs.
When Mommy or Daddy is in the kitchen I don’t want them to miss out on what is on TV so I report to them about what is happing, like the trains connecting on YouTube.

I love songs at school…but not all of them. I have preferences. Some songs I will opt to sit out, or more accurately “lie out”. But when my jam comes on I’m front and center!

So of course I’m much more attentive and active when it is something I like.
Speaking of likes and attention, this is all of us focused on a garbage truck. Yes, just a plain old garbage truck.

We are just as interested in things likes pigeons. Yes, just a simple pigeon. Hey, we’re kids. We are interested in weird things.

This is how I get ready for school…introducing bowl head.

Um, yeah. Self-explanatory title. Just playing.

Look at my big dinner! Yep, I plan to eat all of it!

It’s a rainy day again today, so we are staying inside. Which is fine because we have a lot of fun activities like coloring. As you can see I’m loving it!

It is very difficult to walk to school on rainy days. Daddy has to carry me to keep me dry, but he also has to carry the umbrella. So he’s pretty much carrying me with one arm. In order to make it a bit easier for him I like to help to hold the umbrella.

When Daddy was getting ready and brushing his teeth I figured that he needed a visit from the bus, you know, just to cheer him up.
