Some mornings Mommy has the early shift so she walks with me to school up until the subway and then rushes off to work while Daddy drops me off at school. Some mornings we were a little behind schedule (usually because I’m not correcting) so Mommy has to run off to catch her subway. I like watching her run off. It is fun to watch adults run!

What do I want to wear to school? I dunno.

Loving delicious dinners!

Loving my towel dresses!

When we cross the street we practice crossing safely by raising our hand.

When we were at the park we collected all kinds of things like rocks and sand.

All ready for school, so just playing with my cars to pass the time.

Singing and dancing during our English lesson at school.

Looking for bugs outside.

I love borrowing books from school. Sometimes I pick book out when I get dropped off in the morning. Sometimes we borrow a book that my teachers tell Mommy I like to read. Sometimes Mommy and I pick one out together. No matter how we choose the books I always enjoy our bedtime story time.

Yum! Corn on the cob again for dinner!

Fun playing with cars.

An elegant towel dress before bedtime.

Some mornings just don’t go the way I want to. Often, I have a hard time with Monday mornings. After such a great weekend spent with Mommy and Daddy, it is hard to leave them to go to school. Even the morning might start off pretty smooth, I can be very difficult and disagreeable when it is time to leave. I get really sad and it is a bit of a challenge to get me out of the house. But once we get outside and on our way to school I calm down and actually start looking forward to school.

After lunch we went to Jiiji and Baaba’s house to hang out. It is hard to believe that there was once a time when I would cry when we got there. Not any more. I have a lot of fun there. One of my favorite things to do is to visit Baaba in the kitchen. I almost always end up coming back with some fruits.

While hanging out I like interacting with everyone, (when I’m not eating). I often want to see what everyone has on their phones. More often than not it is pictures of me.

I had a great visit today and was absolutely exhausted by the time we headed back.

Jiiji and Baaba are so sweet. There was a crane game at the entrance of the restaurant and it was filled with Anpanman character dolls. They knew I like Anpanman so they wanted to win one for me. It ended up being a lot harder than they thought. They didn’t get a doll for me, but I appreciate the effort.

We visited Jiiji and Baaba and had lunch together today. Lunch was really good, but what was better was that I had a fun time playing with Jiiji. I chose a car for my free toy with lunch (of course) and was playing with it on the table. Jiiji joined in on the fun and we had a great time!

I read a lot of books this morning. When it was time to head out I helped Daddy put on his socks because he always helps me put mine on.

Dinner was very good tonight. I had rice and some tsukune, but I really enjoyed the takuan that I bought at the grocery store today. It was pretty tasty! (And since I chose it I really wanted to eat it.). What’s more is that I was able to eat it using my chopsticks (for a while before I switched to using my fingers.)

I helped Mommy and Daddy with the grocery shopping earlier at a different store, but I noticed they didn’t get the things that we really needed. So at the next grocery store I was more independent and did the shopping on my own. Daddy commented that I looked like single-guy doing grocery shopping, not really sure what to buy and carefully perusing the products in the aisle. There were a few things that Mommy and Daddy returned to the shelf, but for the most part they stuck with my shopping decisions.

We had sushi for lunch and I had a great time. The food was so good that I became really silly.

The fish market must have known that I was coming because they had a couple of there vehicles on display for kids to sit in, honk the horn, and pretend to drive. I completely forgot about all the fish I saw and now the main even of the day has become the vehicle experience.

We visited a fish market today and I got to see a lot of fish and other sea life. Most of them were dead and being sold as food, but there were some in tanks that were still alive. I wonder if these were meant to be pets. Either way, it was cool seeing a bunch of sea animals.
