Ghost book

My teacher informed Mommy and Daddy that I really like this ghost book at school so we borrowed it today. It was so cool. The ghost turned into what ever it ate and it turned into weird things like fizzy soda and natto! Then he had to hide so he ate some nori so he could be black like the night.

Pink ball and playing train

When we went to the park today our teachers brought a lot of balls for us to play with. I grabbed the pink ball and would not let go of it. I was playing with it by holding it and walking around the park. I really like that pink ball!

As I was taking my pink ball for a walk I noticed some kids gathering around some teachers who drew a circled in the sand. I wandered over and saw that they were pretending the circle was train tracks and they were running along it like trains. I got very sad and started to cry. My teacher noticed right away and came to see what was a matter. I couldn’t explain my feeling but my teacher worked it out. She asked me if I wanted to join in and I emphatically nodded my head. I didn’t know if it was invitation-only or not so I was feeling left out but of course I was welcome if not encouraged to join in. I had fun being a train. We ran around the circle to the speed of a song that teachers sang. When ran fast when they sang fast and ran slow when the sang slow. We had a great time being trains!

Solo train

After dinner, I like to play with my toys. I’d rather play with my toys with Daddy, but he’s been coming home late lately because of his new promotion at work. He tries to come home as early as he can and always is happy to play with me, sing to me, and read to me, even though he is obviously very tired. It is not as much time as we used to have together, but I appreciate any time that we can spend together.

Play dough

We played with play dough at school today. (Not the name brand one, a homemade one.) It was fun to explore the texture and feel of it, but I really started to have fun when our teacher gave me a toy spoon and knife. I pretended to cook and was working on the chopping. Daddy doesn’t let me do any chopping when we cook together, but I’ve watched him enough to know how it is done. So I figured I should start practicing on my own.

Stages of dinner time

When we get home from school I usually entertain myself as Mommy gets dinner ready. I’m usually very well behaved and quite patient. When you see my dinner, you’ll see why.

Look at all the yummy food that Mommy prepares for me! I know it’s worth the wait so I’m very good about being patient.

What a great meal! Thank you, Mommy! Gochisousama deshita!

Birthday party and park

Some of my classmates had a birthday party at school today. I really liked their cake crowns and pretended to eat them whenever I got close. It was pretend, but it was still delicious.

When we went to the park I had fun playing in the sand. I was pretending to cook. I like helping Daddy cook and I’m really good at pouring and mixing. I polished my skills while playing in the sand. I also had fun running around with my friends. It was nice to get out after so many days of rain.

Big anime eyes

People often comment about how big my eyes are. Some say they look like anime or cartoon character eyes. They’re not wrong. Mommy and Daddy sometimes comment that it looks like someone drew my eyes. (Especially the eyelashes).

But sometimes I don’t like all the attention. Please, don’t look at me.

Balloon soccer

Just practicing my soccer skills around the house. We don’t have a soccer ball but this balloon served as a good substitute. I dribble around the house a bit and maintained pretty good control. I can’t wait to try out my skills with a real soccer ball.
