I started off the morning a bit moody, but slowly came around and was more of my silly self. I started off by walking backwards for no reason.
Then Daddy decided to put on some music and do some silly dancing and I just had to mimic him.

I hadn’t done any fingerpainting in a while so Daddy set me up with some fingerpaints. But then I remembered that I don’t like getting my hands dirty so I was not really into it. So Daddy set me up with a sponge so I could spongepaint instead and keep my hands relatively cleaner.

I was eating my snack and then noticed that Nana was suspiciously concentrating on something behind a book barrier that she set up. It turns out that she was using her iPad so I moved next to her to see what she was up to while I ate my snack.

Once I was done with my snack we both focused on reading some books.

After shopping and lunch we headed to the playland nearby. It was the best place to run around on a rainy day. I’ve always enjoyed my time there, but today I especially enjoyed the cars that were there. I spent more than 20 minutes climbing in and out of the cars. Daddy pushed me around some, but I mainly just wanted to climb in and out. I also eventually had fun in other areas as well.

The weather was bad today and we didn’t have any plans so we made a trip to Costco. Papa was curious to see what Costco was like in Japan. He was quite impressed with it. It turns out that he and I like the same thing about Costco, the food samples. I ate a bunch of fruits today. Grapes, apples, and oranges. It was delicious! But that wasn’t the reason why we came to Costco, so we made sure to do the shopping that was necessary.

I gotta talk to Daddy about his iPad. Nana’s iPad has some fun kids’ games that I can learn from and enjoy. Daddy’s iPad has YouTube and a couple of Anpanman apps and that’s about all I’m interested on his iPad. He should talk to Nana about improving his selection.

When Mommy got home from work she was happy to find that I was having a great time with Nana and Papa and I had been a very good boy all day. Again, we had no problems with meals, my nap, diaper changes, and playing. Everything went smoothly.
I sure worked up an appetite so I ate my dinner up with gusto.
With a full tummy I had a lot of energy and was having fun goofing around.
Then we got word that Daddy was working late and that the grownups should eat without him. Even though I wanted to see Daddy, hearing that he would be late meant that there was extra food on the table. I took advantage of the situation and had a second dinner. I ate quite a bit considering that I just had my own dinner just a little while ago.

I was once again re-energized and feeling silly!
When Daddy came home everyone filled him in about how I was today. He was very happy to hear that everything went well. He was not surprised that I ate a second dinner (for him) and was happy to see me so energetic.
After my bath I calmed down and we entered our usual calming bedtime routine. It gave me time to reflect on what a great day I had.

The past few days when Nana and Papa were babysitting me, they asked if I wanted to go to the park with them (without Mommy or Daddy) and I always said no. I was having so much fun at home that I didn’t feel like going out. But today I felt like taking a walk and breathing some fresh air, so when they asked me if I wanted to go to the park I eagerly said yes.

Nana and Papa are baby sitting me again today. Looking at how easy it is you would think that we do this all the time even though it is only their second day watching me completely on their own. I love my babysitters and can totally be myself.

When Daddy got home from work, I wasted no time and started playing with him right away! Recently I love Daddy piggyback rides and horsey rides. Today was a piggyback ride with a bit of horseback riding command style.

Mommy came home from work to find all of us getting along very well together. Even though Nana and Papa’s babysitting shift was over, I still spent a lot of time with them as Mommy got dinner ready. Just because they aren’t babysitting anymore doesn’t mean I don’t spend time with them.
When it was time for them to head back to their hotel I had to get one last look and see them off.

Everything is going great! Was there any doubt? I’m being a very good boy and Nana and Papa know my routine, so we are getting along really well! I’ve been reading books, playing with my toys, talking to them a lot, and just being a joy to babysit. Nana and Papa fed me lunch and got me to take my nap without any problem. And as my recent routine has been, Papa got me when I woke up from my nap and changed my poopy diaper. Then they fed me my snack. They get an A+! Everything has being going so smoothly and we all have been having a ball! It seriously looks like we do this all the time. I guess all the time in Hawaii and all of our FaceTime calls made this a lot easier. Things are so good that they are just normal.
Nana and Papa brought me this cool blinking ball that lights up when it hits something. At first I wasn’t that interested but today I thought it was hilarious! It is so cool! But the lights are a bit dazzling😵â€ðŸ’«

I heard that Nana and Papa were babysitting me for the whole day today so I woke up in a pretty good mood! (I also had such a fun time and ate so well at my birthday dinner last night that there was no way I was not waking up in a good mood.)

As Mommy and Daddy left for work, this is what it looked like. It was as if they had left me with Nana and Papa hundreds of times before. We’re good, Mommy and Daddy! Have a great day at work and we’ll see you at dinner!
