USJ Day 2

I woke up in a great mood ready to get going to USJ…after some morning TV, of course. Since we had half a day yesterday to check out the park, I knew right away where I wanted to go to. There was no need to wander around. Yesterday, I was urged to drive at Elmo’sContinue reading “USJ Day 2”

USJ Half Day

We headed off to USJ for a half-day! I was both excited and a little anxious. There were a lot of people and I don’t really do well in crowds. Also, it was pretty sunny so I couldn’t help but look a bit angry during the pictures we took in front of the Universal globe.Continue reading “USJ Half Day”

Heading to Osaka

I woke up in a good mood and ready to go! We are heading to Osaka today to go to USJ. I’ve never been to either before so I was very excited. I got ready very quickly and even patiently waited until it was actually time to leave the house. One of the reasons whyContinue reading “Heading to Osaka”

Hanging out with Nana and Papa

We did not have any special events scheduled for today. Yesterday was my birthday party and tomorrow we leave for Osaka to go to USJ. So today was a relatively calm and non-eventful day. But that doesn’t mean we didn’ t have fun. As soon as Nana and Papa came over in the morning, IContinue reading “Hanging out with Nana and Papa”

Nana and Papa’s AirBnb

After my birthday party we helped Nana and Papa check into their AirBnb. It was closer and roomier than their first hotel room, but was only available for today. As usual, I enjoyed exploring the new place. Then we went out to dinner. There was a yakiniku restaurant not too far away so we walkedContinue reading “Nana and Papa’s AirBnb”

Dessert, hide-and-seek, and haircut

After a nice dinner I was still hungry and I wanted go for a walk, so we headed over to 7-Eleven to pick up some dessert. On the way back I ended up racing home with Daddy and we got there so fast that we decided to hide a bit. Part of the reason weContinue reading “Dessert, hide-and-seek, and haircut”

Belated Easter

Since we hadn’t celebrated Easter yet, because of scheduling conflicts, we decided to celebrate Easter today with Nana and Papa here! First, we needed an Easter Bunny. Done. Next, we had to go on an Easter Egg Hunt, so we headed to the park. It was a very nice and sunny day. I know IContinue reading “Belated Easter”

Nana and Papa visit Morning

Nana and Papa came over first thing in the morning and I was so happy to see them. I had so many things to show them. It had been a year since they were last here so I had to catch them up. Sure, we FaceTime every week, but it is different in person. IContinue reading “Nana and Papa visit Morning”

Bye-bye Nana and Papa

Before we knew it, it was time for Nana and Papa to leave. We headed to the airport with almost no problem. The taxi would let the five of us ride, even though we have been taking so many taxis this trip and had no problem. Instead of arguing or ordering another taxi, Daddy decidedContinue reading “Bye-bye Nana and Papa”

3rd Birthday Party

It is a bit early, but we had my 3rd birthday party today. We had to do it while Nana and Papa were still in town. I was in a pretty good mood and I was well behaved. I knew how these things work. (It is my third time going through this.). There is aContinue reading “3rd Birthday Party”

Shinkansen ride home

The Shinkansen ride home was every bit as smooth and fun as the ride to Nagoya was. The only difference was that we were heading in the other direction. I was still thrilled to see and ride the Shinkansen, even after seeing all the trains at the Railway Park. The only difference this trip wasContinue reading “Shinkansen ride home”

SCMAGLEV and Railway Park

So like I said, today we visited the SCMAGLEV and Railway Park, which is all about trains. Once we got inside you could see how excited I was. I did not ask to be carried and showed around. I took the lead and just headed off, not really checking to see if anyone was followingContinue reading “SCMAGLEV and Railway Park”

Exhausted to sleep

I had such a great time at Legoland and was really tired by the time we got on the train heading back to the hotel. It was a surprise to no one when I fell asleep on the train. I was still going strong but the sleepiness just started to get to me and thenContinue reading “Exhausted to sleep”

Legoland: Thank you Nana and Papa

I had such a great time at Legoland! Thank you, Nana and Papa! My first theme park experience! Although it doesn’t often show, I really enjoyed Legoland. I hear that Papa is already thinking about destinations for next year. I’m so looking forward to it! Goodbye, Legoland! I had an awesome time!

Lunch and hotel

We arrived in Nagoya without any problems. After dropping our bags off at the hotel we went out in search of lunch. Nagoya is a very busy city and all the places we found were full with a long line of customers. We finally found a nice little place with outdoor seating which was reallyContinue reading “Lunch and hotel”

Shinkansen

Today we headed for Nagoya and we went there by Shinkansen. I had ridden the Shinkansen before for short rides, no more than 20 minutes. This was my first real Shinkansen trip and I was very excited. I had been talking about it for days! Ever since we started planning this trip. I would oftenContinue reading “Shinkansen”

Hanging out with Nana and Papa

For the rest of the afternoon we just hung out together. We played, we talked, we chatted with my cousins. I showed Nana and Papa all of my toys and showed them all of the things that I could do. A lot they had seen during our FaceTime chats, but it doesn’t compare to seeingContinue reading “Hanging out with Nana and Papa”

Early Boys’ Day

Papa, Daddy, and I took a three generation Boys’ Day picture a bit early. The weather was so nice and we would not be around my koi nobori on actual Boys’ Day, so we just took it a few days earlier. My tummy was full of ramen and I was in a great mood, soContinue reading “Early Boys’ Day”
