Heading home from USJ

After leaving USJ, we picked up our luggage from the hotel, grabbed some dinner from a convenience store and hopped on our train. When we transferred to the Shinkansen we ate dinner and enjoyed a smooth ride home. It was a wonderful trip to USJ! I had such a great time! Thank you Nana andContinue reading “Heading home from USJ”

USJ Day 2

I woke up in a great mood ready to get going to USJ…after some morning TV, of course. Since we had half a day yesterday to check out the park, I knew right away where I wanted to go to. There was no need to wander around. Yesterday, I was urged to drive at Elmo’sContinue reading “USJ Day 2”

USJ Half Day

We headed off to USJ for a half-day! I was both excited and a little anxious. There were a lot of people and I don’t really do well in crowds. Also, it was pretty sunny so I couldn’t help but look a bit angry during the pictures we took in front of the Universal globe.Continue reading “USJ Half Day”

Heading to Osaka

I woke up in a good mood and ready to go! We are heading to Osaka today to go to USJ. I’ve never been to either before so I was very excited. I got ready very quickly and even patiently waited until it was actually time to leave the house. One of the reasons whyContinue reading “Heading to Osaka”

Heading home to Japan

It was a nice long visit, but it went by way too fast. I had a lot of fun and was very happy to see everyone, which might not have been apparent from my behavior. I have to apologize for the tantrums I threw and the trouble I caused. I am working on improving andContinue reading “Heading home to Japan”

Morning in Kitakyushu

I woke up in Kitakyushu in a very good mood. I had had a very nice sleep in the hotel room and barely stirred at all through the night. Daddy zipped off to get us some breakfast (twice). First he went to McDonald’s to get me some pancakes and the Tomica car prize. Then IContinue reading “Morning in Kitakyushu”

Kitakyushu mini-trip

We went to Kitakyushu for a mini-trip. Mommy had a wedding to attend so we decided to make it a family trip. Mommy went first and met up with friends before the wedding. Daddy and I left after lunch so that we could check into the hotel when we arrived. There were some delays withContinue reading “Kitakyushu mini-trip”

Greenland

We went to Greenland today! No, not the country. It is a theme park. It is little over an hour drive outside the city, but there was little traffic and we got there without any problems. Even though it was a Sunday, there were no crowds and that meant no wait times anywhere. It wasContinue reading “Greenland”

Shinkansen ride home

The Shinkansen ride home was every bit as smooth and fun as the ride to Nagoya was. The only difference was that we were heading in the other direction. I was still thrilled to see and ride the Shinkansen, even after seeing all the trains at the Railway Park. The only difference this trip wasContinue reading “Shinkansen ride home”

SCMAGLEV and Railway Park

So like I said, today we visited the SCMAGLEV and Railway Park, which is all about trains. Once we got inside you could see how excited I was. I did not ask to be carried and showed around. I took the lead and just headed off, not really checking to see if anyone was followingContinue reading “SCMAGLEV and Railway Park”

Exhausted to sleep

I had such a great time at Legoland and was really tired by the time we got on the train heading back to the hotel. It was a surprise to no one when I fell asleep on the train. I was still going strong but the sleepiness just started to get to me and thenContinue reading “Exhausted to sleep”

Legoland: Thank you Nana and Papa

I had such a great time at Legoland! Thank you, Nana and Papa! My first theme park experience! Although it doesn’t often show, I really enjoyed Legoland. I hear that Papa is already thinking about destinations for next year. I’m so looking forward to it! Goodbye, Legoland! I had an awesome time!

Legoland: Gift shop

Our last stop at Legoland was of course the gift shop. And wouldn’t you know, they had Lego cars in the gift shop too. It was pretty cool! I don’t ask for much, so with a bit of encouragement from Nana and Papa I chose a bubble wand. I loved it! I just had toContinue reading “Legoland: Gift shop”

Legoland: DUPLO Express

My last Legoland ride for the day was a train ride that was right near the park entrance. It was a very mild looking ride and right up my alley. I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

Legoland: Police Car and Police Station

I was still sad…for reasons not really clear to anyone, and then we found a Lego police station while walking through Legoland. And guess what was there in the police station, a police car. I just had to hop behind the wheel. Maybe it was because I was illegally driving a police car without aContinue reading “Legoland: Police Car and Police Station”

Legoland: Coast Guard HQ

After the Rescue Academy and gained some courage and wanted to go ride the boats that I had seen earlier near the airplanes. So we headed back in that direction and stood in line. It was a pretty long line, but luckily they had a little play area for kids to distract kids while waiting.Continue reading “Legoland: Coast Guard HQ”

Legoland: Rescue Academy

On our way through the park I saw the Rescue Academy and was really interested in it. So after lunch that was our first stop. As you know I’m really into rescue vehicles so being able to drive a fire truck and put out fires sounded awesome! And guess what. It was awesome! Mommy, Daddy,Continue reading “Legoland: Rescue Academy”

Legoland: Lunch and back to the fun

While Daddy and I were flying an airplane, Nana and Papa had went ahead to a restaurant and ordered food and got seats. The timing worked out perfectly. Just as we finished our airplane ride they had lunch ready. We met up and had a nice lunch. Nana and Papa are pros at navigating amusementContinue reading “Legoland: Lunch and back to the fun”

Legoland: City Airport

After my Jr. Driving School experience, I took some time to compose myself and we wandered around some more looking at other attractions that might interest me. I turned down most of the things we saw, but when I saw the City Airport airplanes I was keen to give it a try. I really enjoyedContinue reading “Legoland: City Airport”

Legoland Japan

We’re here! Once we got to Legoland the first area we entered had a huge Lego diorama display. I was fascinated and could not get enough of it. I think I saw every inch of the diorama and noticed every detail. Every new detail I noticed I had to show to Mommy, Daddy, Nana andContinue reading “Legoland Japan”
