Don’t worry, it is not a medical emergency or anything. I just like listening to Daddy’s heartbeat. It is very calming and comfortable.

Happy time with Mommy
Today was a national holiday, but Daddy had to work (that’s just the kind of job he has). So I got to spend the whole afternoon with Mommy! We had so much fun! It has been a while since we’ve spent the afternoon together just the two of us! Except for last Friday and oneContinue reading “Happy time with Mommy”

What did you eat?
Mommy: What did you eat? Me: Nothing.
Drawn to TV
More and more I am understanding the draw of TV. Mommy and Daddy put on my kids shows from time to time, but they keep my TV time very short and I usually lose interest quickly. But every so often I find TV interesting, and it is usually not kids’ programs.
Crumbs
By watching me eat the crumbs found in my chair and on the floor you would think that I’m being starved. On the contrary, I am eating three square meals a day and am fed quite well! I just don’t want to waste even a single crumb.
Play partner out of juice
I may still be a baby, but I have some pretty good batteries in me. I just keep going and going. I have so much energy that my play partners often run out of juice while playing with me. It’s okay, I understand. Grownups are bigger so their batteries run out quicker. Maybe a goodContinue reading “Play partner out of juice”

Morning book
No matter the day, I always have time for a book in the morning.
Phone call for you
I like to play with my phone. I don’t really know what real phones look like, but I’ve seen Mommy and Daddy play with my toy phone. So I always give it to them to answer and play with. I had Mommy answer the phone once. Next the phone call was for Daddy. Where isContinue reading “Phone call for you”

Early riser, even on holidays
I guess I missed the memo about today being a holiday. I was up and eager to get ready for school while Mommy and Daddy were trying to squeeze in a few more minutes of sleep since it was a holiday. In the end they woke up and matched my mistaken schedule and then thoroughlyContinue reading “Early riser, even on holidays”
Back to school
After my fever and a three-day weekend, it is weird to return to my school schedule, especially for only one day before three more holidays. Still, I surprised everyone and picked up from where I left off and did not cry when dropped off at school. I was actually getting fussy at home when IContinue reading “Back to school”
Bouncing ball
I’m not quite throwing or tossing balls around yet, but I can drop them quite well and make them bounce. I’ll get the hang of it soon enough and before you know it I’ll be pitching fastballs like a MLB prospect.
Mason vs. Gundam
That is a big robot! But look, I can reach his head! That means I’m a big boy too!

Excited about new shopping mall
We visited a new shopping mall in the city today. There were a lot of people, so I was a little nervous, but I was also quite excited. My legs were swinging with anticipation…or maybe it was just the momentum from Daddy walking.
Helping Daddy brush his teeth
Daddy helps me brush my teeth, so I help him brush his teeth. But I think I got the short end of the deal because he has so much more teeth than I do, so it is a lot more work for me.
Happy chair
I refer to my high-low chair as my happy chair because that is where I get to eat. It is also a place where a lot of fun happens. I can try new things like try to feed myself by chewing on the other side of the spoon. I can forcefully remove Daddy’s hand fromContinue reading “Happy chair”
