I like to help around the house when I can, so I decided to help unfold the laundry, which is a very common household chore. Wait, hold on, I’m being informed that I got it wrong. Not “unfold” laundry, I’m supposed to “fold the laundry”. Okay, that makes more sense. My bad.

I’m not a fan of the morning news, but the commercials are interesting. They are always so colorful, musical, and catchy!

Okay, so this moves here and slides there, and if I pull or push here…then this goes there…okay, figured it out.

I’m really good at climbing now. I learned little things that makes it easier and quicker to climb. For instance, if I keep my head forward and down it improves my weight distribution and makes it easier to climb.

I’ll be honest, I don’t like getting dressed. I often fuss when Mommy or Daddy tries to put clothes on me. I’d rather run around in my diapers than put clothes on. I had fun playing with my hiragana duck blocks. Daddy was trying to teach me words using the hiragana alphabet, but I just wanted to chew on the blocks and play with the container. Maybe later I’ll want to study, Daddy. For now I just want to play!

Daddy was messing around with the slo-mo on his camera as I went about my usual daily adventures. As you can see, I’m not afraid of falling when on the couch because I know it is soft and safe.

I had a short nap on the walk back home. It was so soothing being carried in my carrier and comfortably warm all bundled up. I woke up when when we got home, but I was refreshed from my power nap.

Today we went to a cafe that Mommy and Daddy discovered over a year ago when I was still in Mommy’s tummy. It was a good distance from our home, so it was a nice walk for Mommy to stretch her legs and get some exercise. Mommy and Daddy hadn’t been back there in aContinue reading “Cafe visit”

On the weekends I get to FaceTime with Grandma and Grandpa. There was a time when I cried when I saw them, but now I’m very happy to see them. I like talking to them, showing off what I can do, playing games with them, and just smiling at them as they smile at me!

I’m still doing my head shaking thing. Sometimes it is an appropriate response to a question. Sometimes it is a funny response to a question. Sometimes it is me just having fun. And sometimes, like today when I was very emphatically shaking my head, it is cause for a little be of worry.

I’ve had some rough red spots on my back for a while and Mommy took me to the pediatrician to have it checked out. I’m still trying to tear stuff. Unfortunately, everything I can get my hands on is too strong. Nothing is tearing. I try with all my might and not a tear. Lately, I’ve been trying to take part in conversations more. When Mommy and Daddy talk to each other I chime in with my own opinions, when they ask me questions I respond with some grunts or sounds. Today I had a short conversation with Daddy.

Daddy was sending chills down my spine. I don’t know if I liked it or not. But watching the video, I must admit that it improved my posture temporarily.

I tried sesame seeds today. They were ground up and added some fragrant flavor to my rice, but other than that there was not much to eat. It tasted good, but not very filling.

I like to cover a lot of ground while I play during the day. So sometimes all of a sudden I’ll decided to take off and go to another room. Of course, Mommy or Daddy is always following me to keep me out of trouble. But what kind of trouble can I get into? AContinue reading “And I’m off”
