On the move
Now that I figured out how to army crawl I am exploring a lot more. I can shuffle my way around the four corners of the living room pretty easily. I’m planning to expand my range pretty soon. For now, I’m just covering a lot of ground in the living room.
Father and son
Early riser
When I’m hungry in the morning, I just can’t put myself back to sleep, no matter how well my sleep training is going. I just start calling for Mommy and Daddy to wake up and feed me. As you can see, I have figured out where they sleep, (my crib is at the foot ofContinue reading “Early riser”
Peach and grapes
Oh my god! I tried peaches and grapes baby food and it was sooooo good! Peaches are not in season and we haven’t seen it in the supermarket, so we bought some off the shelf baby food. Man, that stuff is good! It was considerably sweeter than the food I have been eating. You canContinue reading “Peach and grapes”
Looking for Mommy and getting a surprise
Remember how I mentioned that I watch Mommy and Daddy leave the room and then look and wait for them to come back. Well, sometimes that can result is some surprise followed by a lot of laughter!

Peeling the floor to eat
Nobody let’s me have any fun. All I wanted to do was peel off the top layer of the floor mat but Daddy wouldn’t let me. Sure, I tried to eat the pieces that I peeled off, but that’s where the fun is.
Finding Daddy at work
After I have my dinner, Mommy let’s me stay in my chair as she gets my bath ready. I usually spend my time brushing my teeth, playing with toys, or licking my table clean of any pieces of food. Another thing I like to do is find Daddy at work at his desk. I knowContinue reading “Finding Daddy at work”
Finding laughter
We’ve moved beyond simple peekaboo and are having a lot more fun! I’m very aware of my surroundings and where everyone is. When Mommy or Daddy leave the room I watch them go and keep looking in that direction until they come back. Or I go looking for them now that I can crawl. OutContinue reading “Finding laughter”
Fish
I tried some fish today. It was pretty fishy. It wasn’t bad, but the fishy taste was very strong. The next time I have it, I’m sure it will be mixed with rice or vegetables.
Relaxing Morning
Some mornings we just like to relax and ease into the day with breakfast and the news. Of course, to do that we have to be comfortable on the couch.
Tummy sleep and balding
Like I mentioned, I’m sleeping quite well on my own, but end up sleeping on my tummy. But before I get to my tummy I’m on my back tossing and turning a bit. I think it is creating a bit of a bald spot on the back of my head. I think I should startContinue reading “Tummy sleep and balding”

Laughing at Mommy’s silly faces
It doesn’t take much to make me smile. All I have to do is see Mommy or Daddy smiling at me. It also doesn’t take much to make me laugh. All I have to do is watch Mommy and Daddy doing silly things to entertain me. They play with me, talk to me, dance forContinue reading “Laughing at Mommy’s silly faces”

Caught sneaking up
I was playing on the floor and then decided to sneak up on Mommy and Daddy who were on the couch. With my newfound ability to crawl, I thought I could get to them before they noticed. But they saw my hair standing up on my head like you would see a shark fin stickingContinue reading “Caught sneaking up”
No cry sleep
I had such a good sleep last night! It was the first time that I went to bed without any crying at all. We went through our usual bedtime routine and when Mommy and Daddy put me in my crib after kissing me goodnight I just looked up at them. They were shocked! Usually IContinue reading “No cry sleep”

Visiting Ojiichan and Obaachan
We went to see Ojiichan and Obaachan today. They were very happy to see me! It had been some time since I last visited, so I cried when I saw them. I didn’t recognize them and I latched on to Daddy. But after some time, I recognized them and calmed down. In order to getContinue reading “Visiting Ojiichan and Obaachan”
