I’m too young to eat a birthday cake, so Mommy made me a special half birthday meal! It is made completely out of my normal solid foods. I had rice porridge, carrots, broccoli, and corn. These are all my favorites! I was so excited to get a special half birthday meal that I couldn’t wait!

With all the toys and teething goods that I have to chew on, I choose the tag on my play mat. Go figure.
I find the weirdest places comfortable. I don’t really like being put down in my crib to sleep, but I’ll fall asleep on my changing mat after a morning diaper change. I guess I enjoy having more room on the floor than being cramped in my crib.
Most nights when I finish my late night bottle I’m quite sleepy and drift right off to sleep. But sometimes that bottle reenergizes me and wakes me up. I don’t know why. It’s not like bottle is filled with coffee or Red Bull or anything. It’s strange, but quite entertaining.
I’ve been getting better at sitting on my own. Mommy and Daddy still have to watch me carefully and be ready to catch me if I topple over. But recently when I do topple over it has been slower as if I’m trying to rebalance myself. I’m making progress.
