Crossed legs

Did you notice how often I have my legs crossed? It’s weird. I haven’t heard of babies doing this a lot. Is it just me? It makes me wonder. What else do I do that might only be a Mason thing. Hmmm. Let me ponder this.

Visit from Obachan (Aunty)

We had another nice visit from Obachan today! She wanted to see me and to bring me some half-birthday gifts. (I celebrate my half birthday in a couple of days.). It was nice to catch up. She was surprised to see how big I got and how much more I can do. She enjoyed seeing

Swingers

Just a nice day at the park with Mommy and Daddy and some swings.

Waking up on the right side of the bed

Now this is a peaceful sleep. So quiet and content. Waking from such a nice sleep can be a tricky thing. But every so often I wake up on the right side of the bed.

Daddy playing from above

Daddy can still make me laugh just by making funny faces and funny noises. He is a great entertainer…mostly because he has an adoring audience.

Daddy’s day off

It’s nice having Daddy around on his days off. Not only does he play with me, he is also there for all the daily routine stuff, like feeding me and putting me down for my nap. If only every day could be like this. I’m not sure I like the idea of Daddy having to

Happy rider

Even with so many things changing in my life, I still like my car rides. As long as it’s not past my nap time or feeding time, I happily let Mommy and Daddy strap me into my car seat and take me to all kinds of different places.

Pinned arm

I am an expert roller-over now. I do it easily and smoothly without much thought. But sometimes my arm gets pinned under me when I roll over. Most of the time I reposition myself and wriggle it free. But sometimes I’m too lazy to bother. So I just continue playing with only one hand.

Target locked on, crawl fail

My diaper storage box is an appealing target for me. If I can manage to get to it, there are all sorts of mischievous things that I can do. Most of them are related to pulling things out from their compartment or pocket and making a mess. Sometimes when I am being changed on my

Waking up in a good mood

Most of the time when I wake up from sleep or even just a nap, I am on the cranky side. You can understand, right? I was comfortably asleep and then I am awake. Most of the time I want to squeeze in a few more minutes of sleep, but for some reason wake up.

Tomato Tomahto

The new solid food for me today was tomatoes. It was a little bit more sour or bitter than what I have been eating so far, but I still ate it without problem. What can I say? I like food! Keep it coming! And I a still looking forward to new stuff as well!

Breakdancing?

Nope. I’m not breakdancing. I’m just caught in an awkward predicament when trying to roll over.

Dozing off during my bottle

When I have a full tummy late at night, it is easy for me to drift off to sleep. Often that happens as I reach the end of my bottle. A little tap or shake and I wake up enough to keep drinking, but for the most part I am asleep.

Egg yolk

Today’s menu included a tiny bit of egg yolk. As usual, I ate it all up without any hesitation.

Exploring hands

Recently I’ve been very curious of my environment and try to get my hands on everything I can. Of course, that is a good thing. But sometimes my exploring hands can be painful. I often reach up when I’m being nursed and accidentally pinch Mommy in the throat. She then yelps out in pain. A

Daddy’s lunch break

Daddy only has an hour for his lunch break, and of course the main object of his lunch break is to eat lunch. But that doesn’t mean we can’t squeeze in some Mason-Daddy time.

Green food

I’ve loving my feeding time! Food, food, gimme food! I have slightly different facial reactions to the foods I eat, implying preference, but I still eat everything I’m given without much complaint. I’m loving all my veggies. I hear that some kids don’t like to eat their greens, but I like them a lot! They
