Rubik’s Cube

Daddy has this colorful cube at home that he occasionally fiddles with. I don’t know if you heard of it, but it is called a Rubik’s cube. Daddy explained to me that the point of the Rubik’s cube is to make each side a single color. I don’t get what the big deal is, itContinue reading “Rubik’s Cube”

Holoholo return

I try to go holoholo every day. Sometimes it is difficult due to weather or my mood or napping. But for the most part I make it out almost every day. I like it a lot! It is fun to see all the sights. It is usually just me and Mommy because Daddy has toContinue reading “Holoholo return”

Leg lifts

Being a big baby makes a lot of things difficult for Mommy and Daddy. But being over 9kg has its benefits as well. For one, it makes it possible for Mommy and Daddy to exercise with me. When I say “with me”, I don’t mean exercise at the same time as me. I mean useContinue reading “Leg lifts”

Mood Swings

I have some pretty severe mood swings. I can be have the time of my life and then within an instant start crying like it is the end of the world. I do show some countdown signs to give Mommy and Daddy a hint that I’m about to have a meltdown. My mouth turns intoContinue reading “Mood Swings”

Rear-facing Car Seat

Now I’m riding in style. When I was smaller, I my car seat was like a sideways bed. But I quickly got too big for that position. Now that I can hold my head up steadily on my own, we switch my car seat into the rear-facing position. It is nice because I’m in aContinue reading “Rear-facing Car Seat”

Beach Day

Today I went to the beach for the first time ever! We were waiting for the right time for my first visit. We couldn’t go in the middle of the summer because the temperatures can reach 36°C (96.8°F) and that would be way to hot for me to enjoy it. Also, the beach is aContinue reading “Beach Day”

Piggy back practice

Mommy and Daddy are always carrying me in front of them in the arms. But I’ve seen some babies being carried on their parents’ backs. I wanna do that. I think it is time for so piggy back practice.

Sea otter pulling away

My sea otter is my good friend who I like to cuddle with (and chew on). He is usually always there for me, but today he was pulling away. I don’t get it. I don’t think I did anything wrong (except chew on him). Why is he giving me the cold shoulder and pulling away?

Computer work

I’m only 4 months old and all ready I’m part of the work grind, droning away at the computer. Work, work, work. How much longer until I can retire?

New mouth noises

Recently I discovered some new noises that I can make with my mouth. Oh the fun I will have. Poor Mommy and Daddy now have to deal with more noises and drool.

SuperMason drool bomb

I like when Daddy plays SuperMason with me and holds me up like I’m flying! But my teething is messing with my drool control. The result is a drool bomb right on Daddy. Sorry.

Waking cry

I am not really a morning person. I don’t often wake up on the right side of the bed. I’m usually very groggy and a bit cranky in the morning. I’m still half asleep, but I know that I’m about to wake up and I don’t like it! (I also don’t like waking form napsContinue reading “Waking cry”

Sleeping in style

Check out my sleeping pose. Now if that doesn’t look relaxing, I don’t know what does.

Daddy chair

Now that I can hold my neck up, I found a new way to sit in my Daddy chair. Daddy sits on the floor cross-legged and I sit in the cradle of his legs. I fit perfectly there, making a fairly stable bucket seat. Comfy!

Book overload

I get excited about books. Sometimes I’m happy, sometimes I’m angry. Often I don’t know which I am. So I get book overload.

Teary eyed

No, I wasn’t crying. I just have some dust in my eye. Don’t look at me.

I see you

I see you! You’re the one who put me down on this mat! I’ll remember this. Now please pick me up and carry me so that I can continue my nap.

Sling to sleep

Sometimes I get so tired and fussy that I make it hard for Mommy and Daddy to carry me. I struggle and squirm and that is no way to get lulled to sleep. So to help bear the weight and also to secure me, Mommy and Daddy use the baby carrier or sling. It worksContinue reading “Sling to sleep”

Not in a tickly mood

I usually love it when Daddy tickles me. Usually. Sometimes I’m just not in a tickly mood. And I let him know it.
