Eating heartily

I love lunch time at school. I almost always have seconds of everything. I’m probably the best eater at school, although my classmates are also very good eaters.

Acorns

Today at school we went to the park and we collected a lot of acorns. A LOT of acorns. By the way, I’ve been doing better at school at controlling my emotions. Today one of my classmates sat next to me and was bothering me. Instead of raising a had or anything, I told him firmly, “I’m sitting

Daddy’s home

Daddy often has to work late so when he comes home I try to spend as much time as I can with him. Even if it means just sitting on the couch with him or having Daddy carry out my bedtime routine.

Rhythm and clay

Today at school we had our rhythmic session. We jingled our bells and danced around. I had a lot of fun! We also played with clay as well.

Feeding my doggy

Playing and feeding my doggy. Feeding Daddy too.

Spider visitor

We found a spider in the house this morning. We carefully caught him and sent him on his way outside.

Driving practice again

I wanted to practice driving again today. So when we got home form shopping I hopped into the driver’s seat and had a good long practice session.

Chibi Mason-chan

While shopping we came across this Chibi Marukochan display. I did not want to put my face into the hole, but once Daddy did it I rushed over to do the same.

Window shopping

When shopping today I saw a toy bus that I really liked. I lingered there for a very long time. But when it was time to go, I left without complaint. I’ll be back.

Being silly

After lunch Daddy and I were playing and being silly. I wouldn’t put my socks on so he put them on his ears to look like a doggy. Naturally, I copied him but couldn’t quite get them to stay on. I guess my ears are too soft. Then we were messing around with some sticky notes that

Sandwich…deconstructed

I wanted a sandwich for lunch today, but it ended up being an open-faced sandwich because I took it apart and ate everything separately. I still cleared my plate and all the food ended up in my tummy so alls well that ends well.

Railroad crossing, McDonald’s, and the Sonic

Mommy visited a friend in Kitakyushu, so Daddy and I headed back home on our own ahead of her. On our way back we saw a bunch of trains at the railroad crossing, which was really cool. Then we had a quick bite before our train home. And wouldn’t you know it, our train home was

Too big for changing table

So this is what I look like on a diaper changing table in Japan. Yeah, I think I might want to consider potty training. Otherwise I’m going to have to be changed on the floor. *Update: Daddy had to change my diaper on the floor of a restroom that didn’t even have a changing table. Of course he

Shinkansen

I got to ride the Shinkansen today. I’ve ridden one before, but it was for a very short distance and very short time when visiting Jiiji and Baaba. But today we rode it all the way to Kitakyushu! It was so cool! It was really fast but was so smooth that it didn’t really feel fast. When we arrived

Emergency vehicles

There was a emergency preparedness exhibition today in the city so we went to check it out. There were emergency vehicles that were really cool. I could have worn a child-sized firefighters outfit, but I was not feeling like dressing up. Instead I just enjoyed looking at all the vehicles. There were also booths that we visited and

Lemon

I was being silly today and wanted to taste a lemon. It was sour. Big surprise. It was totally my idea and I don’t regret it at all. It was quite refreshing.

Holding Daddy’s hand

Sometimes I just need to hold Daddy’s hand. Today we were riding the subway when I reached over and grabbed Daddy’s hand. There wasn’t anything scary or the like, I just felt like holding Daddy’s hand.
