Running around and holding hands

Today at the park I ran around with my friends and teachers all while holding hands. It was so much fun. After we ran around we went looking for grasshoppers but couldn’t find any. I reported this to my teacher.

Shirt and pants hat

Recently I have been requesting shirt and pants hats. What that means is that when Daddy goes to bathe me, he makes hats out of the clothes that I take off. We have made many types of hats of all sorts of designs. I always have to show Mommy my newest fashion trend.

Cooking nabe

Just helping Daddy in the kitchen. We are having nabe tonight. I got to mix and pour.

Water coloring

Today I did some water coloring. I don’t mean I painted with water colors. I mean I used water to color. We got this special paper where the colors come out when you brush it with water. It was pretty cool! And I did a good job. The right colors stayed in the right area. Art!

Pullback cars

I have a bunch of pullback cars that I usually get with kids’ meals. They don’t work very well on the mat in the living room. So Daddy pulled back the futon bed and we played with the pullback cars on the hardwood floor. They really zipped and zoomed so fast!

Slide tunnel

Recently when we’ve been going to the park I love to go down the slide and sometimes Mommy and Daddy make a tunnel over the slide for me. But Mommy was busy today so Daddy took me to the park by himself. So he tried to make a tunnel and take a video at the same time. But

Quiet time

After so much active and imaginative play, sometimes I just need to relax and have some quiet time. I am allowed some iPad time and TV time. But before long I get antsy and end up playing.

Dogeza

Daddy is teaching me how to do dogeza, which is the Japanese kneeling bow. It is used to profusely apologize after doing something wrong. Daddy hinted that I would need to know how to do this.

Little bit of bike practice

I don’t ride my bike that often. I still think it is more efficient to walk, run, or be carried. But every so often I like to practice so that one day my bike will be faster than other forms of transportation. Despite my practice, when it was time to go to the park I chose to

Trains and sushi

Today we had some things to do in the city so I got to ride the subway, which was really fun. So while out we had lunch at a sushi place which I always enjoy.

Dinner and building block

Mommy made me a delicious dinner of yakisoba sandwiches, tomatoes, and cheese. I know it is not a normal combination but I loved it. Then I casually build a tall tower with building blocks without it toppling over.

Coloring and Stickers

Today I had fun coloring and playing with stickers. I was very careful about where I put the stickers. I focused on all the wheels first. When I got to school today one of my teachers read me a book about rolling around so I wanted to do the same. I told her so and then began rolling

Short school day

I left school early to get a vaccination. I did not enjoy the shot and of course cried, but I did enjoy spending the afternoon with Mommy. We went to get a snack. And then headed to the park. At home after dinner I read my hug pictorial book. Mommy made me a good dinner and I ate

Rhythmic and English class

We had so much fun with our rhythmic class that most of our pictures are all blurry. We had a fun English lesson and we were very attentive. I also hung out with my friend…just a friend…not a girlfriend.

Waking up in the middle of the night

Recently I’ve been waking up in the middle of the night. If I don’t find Mommy around I come out of the bedroom to look for her. Obviously I’m very sleepy but I need my Mommy to go back to sleep. When I find her, we go back to bed and I fall back asleep very quickly.

Outside breather

I had a bit of a tantrum tonight, so Daddy took me outside to take a breather. We looked at the stars and watched some buses go by. Then I calmed down and felt a lot better.
