After lunch Daddy and I were playing and being silly. I wouldn’t put my socks on so he put them on his ears to look like a doggy. Naturally, I copied him but couldn’t quite get them to stay on. I guess my ears are too soft. Then we were messing around with some sticky notes thatContinue reading “Being silly”

Sandwich…deconstructed
I wanted a sandwich for lunch today, but it ended up being an open-faced sandwich because I took it apart and ate everything separately. I still cleared my plate and all the food ended up in my tummy so alls well that ends well.
Railroad crossing, McDonald’s, and the Sonic
Mommy visited a friend in Kitakyushu, so Daddy and I headed back home on our own ahead of her. On our way back we saw a bunch of trains at the railroad crossing, which was really cool. Then we had a quick bite before our train home. And wouldn’t you know it, our train home wasContinue reading “Railroad crossing, McDonald’s, and the Sonic”
Too big for changing table
So this is what I look like on a diaper changing table in Japan. Yeah, I think I might want to consider potty training. Otherwise I’m going to have to be changed on the floor. *Update: Daddy had to change my diaper on the floor of a restroom that didn’t even have a changing table. Of course heContinue reading “Too big for changing table”
Shinkansen
I got to ride the Shinkansen today. I’ve ridden one before, but it was for a very short distance and very short time when visiting Jiiji and Baaba. But today we rode it all the way to Kitakyushu! It was so cool! It was really fast but was so smooth that it didn’t really feel fast. When we arrivedContinue reading “Shinkansen”
Emergency vehicles
There was a emergency preparedness exhibition today in the city so we went to check it out. There were emergency vehicles that were really cool. I could have worn a child-sized firefighters outfit, but I was not feeling like dressing up. Instead I just enjoyed looking at all the vehicles. There were also booths that we visited andContinue reading “Emergency vehicles”
Lemon
I was being silly today and wanted to taste a lemon. It was sour. Big surprise. It was totally my idea and I don’t regret it at all. It was quite refreshing.
Holding Daddy’s hand
Sometimes I just need to hold Daddy’s hand. Today we were riding the subway when I reached over and grabbed Daddy’s hand. There wasn’t anything scary or the like, I just felt like holding Daddy’s hand.
iPad time
What a busy morning. Time to relax with the iPad.
Skipping parts while singing
Handbag
Modeling the autumn line of handbags, is our inhouse model Mason.
Shirt hat
My new thing when taking a bath is to get a shirt hat. That is where Mommy or Daddy takes my shirt and turns it into a hat. I’m so proud of these hats that I have to go out and show it off. By the way, don’t I look like a girl in this picture. So pretty!

Piggyback ride to school
Usually I am carried most of the way to school and walk at the end. Today, I didn’t feel like walking so I asked Daddy to give me a piggyback ride instead. He agreed and it made my day.
Ready early
Sometimes I’m actually ready for school early and have a bunch of time to play. So that’s what I do. This morning I changed Ao-kun’s diaper, played with my cars, and watched a song on Daddy’s phone. All before it was time to leave for school.
Peeking at Daddy
When it is time to go to bed I come up with all kinds of reasons and ways to stall. I get out of bed to get a drink of water, change the car that I took to bed, or go looking for Daddy. After Daddy helps me get a drink of water or helps me findContinue reading “Peeking at Daddy”
Fun at the park
At the park we ran around a lot and looked for acorns. I didn’t find that much this time, but it was fun looking for them.
Bench bus/shinkansen
We have a little bench at school where we sit to take off and put on our shoes. Today I rode it like a bus and shinkansen.
